WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS

SETTLERS are reminded that by the "Regulations for the Management of Pasturage within Hundreds" every person depasturing or desirous of depasturing cattle on the unfenced waste lands within any Hundred, is required, on or before the 1st of January in every year to furnish to the Waste Land Board a return, showing the number of acres of land owned or occupied by him, the number of acres owned or occupied (if any) unenclosed available to be depastured on by all licensed stock, and the number, description, and brands of all cattle intended to be depastured upon a Hundred.

Penalty for not making a return, or for making a false one, £20.

Forms may be obtained at the Land Offices, Dunedin and Invercargill, and from the Rangers at times and places of which they will give local notice.
