IN accordance with section III, clause IV of the Otago Gold Fields Regulations, I hereby give notice that the undernentioned portion of the Orepuki Gold Field may be occupied by holders of Miners Rights in claims of one acre for each holder of a Miners Right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six acres altogether.

That portion of the ocean beach between high and low water mark, extending from Orepuki Creek to Wai Mea Mea Creek.

IT is hereby notified that a Public Pound has been established within the Municipal Town of West Hawksbury, and that a scale of fees and charges has been sanctioned by His Honor the Deputy-Superintendent of Otago, in terms of Clause 362 of the “Municipal Corporations Act 1867,” and that Mr Thomas Latham has been appointed Poundkeeper of the said Pound by the Town Council.

Notice is hereby given of the intention of the East Taieri Road Board to apply to the General Road Board at its meeting in December, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of 6d in the pound on the annual value of all lands, houses, &c., for the year ending June, 1872. The Assessment Roll can be inspected at the house of the undersigned, fourteen days from date.
