OHIRO ROAD BOARD.—Notice is hereby given of the intention of Ohiro Road Board to apply to the General Board at its meeting in October for leave to levy a Highway Rate of One Shilling in the Pound on annual value of all lands and houses for year ending June 23rd 1872.

SIGNAL HILL ROAD BOARD notify their intention to apply to the General Road Board at the October sitting for authority to levy a Highway Rate of Threepence per acre for the year ending June, 1872.

NOTICE.—Kaihiku Local Road Board hereby notify their intention of applying to the General Road Board, on the first Thursday of October, 1871, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of threepence per acre on all rateable lands within the district, for year ending June 1872.

PORTUNOA Road Board hereby notifies its intention to apply at the meeting of the General Road Board, in October, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of One Shilling in the Pound on annual value of all lands and houses in the district.

THE Ta Houka Local Road Board hereby notify their intention to apply at the next sitting of the General Road Board, in October, for authority to levy a Rate of One Shilling in the Pound on all property in the district, for the year ending June, 1872.

HAMPDEN.—The Local Board hereby notifies its intention to apply to the General Road Board, at their next meeting in October, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of One Shilling in the Pound on the annual value of all lands, houses, buildings, &c., in the district, for the year ending June, 1872.

HALGROVE.—The Local Board hereby notifies its intention to apply to the General Road Board, at its meeting in October next, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of One Penny per Acre on all lands in the district for the current year.

CHALFONT.—The Local Board hereby notifies its intention to apply to the General Road Board, at its meeting in October next, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of Fivepence in the Pound on the annual value of all lands, buildings, &c., in the district, for the current year.

NORTH TAIERI Local Road Board notify that they have applied to the General Road Board.

For leave to levy a Highway Rate for the year 1871-72 of one shilling in the pound, as heretofore, on all rateable property in the district.

NORTH MOLYNEUX ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice is hereby given of the intention of the above Board, to apply to the General Road Board, at the October Sitting, for authority to levy a rate of 8d (eight pence) in the pound annual value for the year 1871-72.

SADDLE HILL ROAD DISTRICT.—The Local Board of Saddle Hill Road District hereby give notice of their intention to apply to the General Road Board, at its next meeting, for authority to levy a Highway Rate for the year 1871-2, at the rate of one shilling in the pound on the annual value of all lands, houses, mills, buildings, &c. within the district. And notice is hereby further given that the Assessment Roll of said district will lie at the house of Mr. William Jaffray, Saddle Hill Park, for fourteen days from this date.—R. SOMERVILLE, Clerk. INCH CLUTHA ROAD BOARD.—Notice is hereby given of the intention of the above Board to apply to the General Road Board at the October Sitting, for authority to levy a rate of sixpence in the pound annual value for the year 1871-72.

WEST TAIERI ROAD BOARD hereby notify their intention to apply at the next meeting of General Road Board for leave to levy a Highway Rate of ninepence in the pound on annual value of all lands, houses, &c., for year ending June 30th, 1872.

SANDYMOUNT ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice is hereby given that a precept authorising the collection of the Highway Rate in the above named district having been issued by the General Road Board, Ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates, to me, at my house, Hooper’s Inlet, on or before the 24th October, 1871.—DAVID ATKINSON, Collector, Sandymount, September 15, 1871.

NORTH-EAST VALLEY LOCAL ROAD DISTRICT.—The General Road Board having issued a precept authorising the levy of a Highway rate of 1s. per acre, for the current year. BROAD BAY ROAD BOARD have appointed Messrs. Walter Riddell, of Sandymount District, and William Allan, of the North-east Harbour District, as Commissioners to hear and decide on any objections on the part of the Ratepayers.
