EDUCATIONAL MEETING
A MEETING of the Owners and Occupiers of Land and Householders within the newly-constituted Educational District of Riverton will be held in the Schoolhouse, North Riverton, upon Friday, the 22nd day of September, 1871, at seven o’clock p.m.; to elect a School Committee for the said district for the remainder of the current year. The election will be made in manner provided by clause 14 of the “Education Ordinance, 1864.”

NORTH-EAST HARBOUR LOCAL ROAD BOARD
THE North-East Harbour Local Road Board hereby notify their intention of applying to the General Road Board, at their next meeting, for permission to levy a Road Rate of One Shilling per Acre on all the rateable property of the district, for the year ending June, 1872. The Assessment Roll will be open for inspection at the Schoolhouse till the 29th August.

BLUE MOUNTAIN ROAD DISTRICT. -- Notice
THE Blue Mountain Road Board hereby give notice of their intention to apply to the General Road Board, on the first Thursday of September, 1871, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of Sixpence in the Pound on the annual value of all lands and buildings in said district. The Assessment Roll is now ready, and may be inspected for fourteen days from date, at my house.

MAUNGATUA ROAD BOARD. -- Notice
NOTICE is hereby given of the intention of the Maungatua Road Board to apply to the General Road Board in September next, for permission to levy a rate of Sixpence in the Pound on the annual value of all lands, &c., in the district, for the year ending June, 1872. The Assessment Roll may be inspected at the Schoolhouse, Maungatua, for fourteen days after the fourth of August, 1871.
