WASTE LAND BOARD ADVERTISEMENTS.
SETTLERS
SETTLERS desirous of Depasturing Cattle on the Wairau and Crookston Hundreds are requested to make the required return and take out Depasturing Licenses.
Forms and every information may be had of the Ranger at Balclutha, and at the Land office.
APPLICATIONS will be received until noon of Monday, 4th September, from Authorised Surveyors, willing to undertake the execution of all Government Surveys according to the “Regulations for the guidance of District Surveyors” within the Districts of Dunedin North, Dunedin South, Balclutha, Oamaru, Waitaki, Waiau, Te Anau.
Maps, showing the boundaries, may be seen at this office, and at the Survey Office, Invercargill.
LAND OPEN FOR SALE on 22nd February, 1871.
See Gazette of 23rd February, 1871, which may be had at the various Survey and Police Stations throughout the Province; and at the Land Offices, Dunedin and Invercargill.
4TH SEPTEMBER.—MONDAY NOON.
NOTICE is hereby given, that Section 56, Block I, Otokia District, containing 4 acres, 1 rood, and 25 poles, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Land Office, Dunedin, on Monday, the 4th day of September next, at noon, at the upset price of £1 10s. per acre. Immediately thereafter, Sections 2 of 20, 42 and 43, Block I, Otokia District, will be offered at the upset price of 10s. per acre.

TOWN LANDS SALES.
NOTICE is hereby given, that all unsold Lands, exclusive of reserves, in the undermentioned Townships, will be offered for sale by public auction at the places and on the dates undernoted:—
Dunedin (Beaumont Ferry)—On the ground, on Monday, the 21st day of August next, at noon.
Havelock—On the ground, on Tuesday, the 22nd day of August next, at noon.
Dallousie—At the Survey Office, Lawrence, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of August next, at noon.
Waipori—At the Survey Office, Lawrence, on Thursday, the 24th day of August next, at noon.
Naseby—At the Survey Office there, on Wednesday, the 23rd day of August next, at noon.
NOTICE is hereby given, that the northern half of Section 1, Block III, Coast District, will be offered for sale by public auction at the Crown Hotel, Balclutha, on Tuesday, the 22nd day of August next, at noon, at the upset price of 30s per acre.
Immediately thereafter, Section 2 of 6, Block VI, Kaitangata District, will be offered at the upset price of 10s per acre.
NOTICE.
CROWN GRANTS for the Land, and in favor of the persons after-mentioned, are now ready for delivery; and attention is directed to the following clauses of the “Crown Grants Act 1866.”
Clause XXXIX.—There shall be paid upon all Grants to be hereafter issued, which may be left in the charge or custody of any Commissioner of Crown Lands, or other officer charged with the delivery of the same, a fee of sixpence for every month during which they shall be so left after the expiration of three months from the date of the notice in the Gazette of the Province wherein the lands are situate; that such Grants are ready for delivery.
Clause XL.—There shall be paid upon all Grants issued prior to the passing of this Act, and left as aforesaid in the custody of the officer charged with the delivery thereof, a fee of sixpence per month for every month during which they shall be so left after two months subsequent to the passing of this Act.
