NOTICE
Of certain Land in the Town of Riverton, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a site for a Drill Shed for the use of the Volunteers.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a site for a Drill Shed at Riverton; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described, a Reserve for a site for a Drill Shed at Riverton; (that is to say)—
All that area in the Province of Otago, in the District of Southland, containing by admeasurement thirty-four (34) poles, more or less, situate in the town of Riverton, being section numbered twenty-two (22) block one (I) on the map of the said town, bounded towards the north-west by section numbered twenty-one (21); towards the north-east by sections numbered respectively three and twenty (3 and 20); towards the south-east by section numbered two (2); and towards the south-west by Jetty-street.
Dated at Dunedin, this seventh day of August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

Of certain land in the Town of Outram, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the Inhabitants of Outram.
By His Honor James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have, under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act 1866,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart as a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Outram; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a reserve for recreation for the use of the inhabitants of Outram; (that is to say)
All that area in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement eight (8) acres three (3) roods and twenty (20) poles, more or less, being section 7, block XV, Town of Outram: bounded towards the north by a lagoon, one thousand six hundred and fifty (1650) links; towards the north-east by reserve for Pound, one hundred and eighty (180) links; towards the south-east by a street line, one thousand and ninety (1090) links; and towards the south-west by Formby street, one thousand three hundred and seventy-three (1373) links.
