EDUCATION RESERVES

The Lease of Section:

  • Section 7, Block VII, Kaitangata, comprising 178 acres, will be disposed of by auction at the auction rooms of Mr. R. W. Capstick, Tokomairiro, on Monday the 14th day of August next, immediately after the sale of Crown Lands there on that date.

The Reserves, Section 17, Block IX, Shotover, comprising 43 acres; and Section 8, Block X, Shotover, comprising 34 acres, will be leased by auction at the Survey Office, Queenstown, on Monday the 14th day of August, 1871, immediately after the sale of Crown Lands. For conditions of lease apply at the Survey Office, Queenstown, or to

The undermentioned Reserves will be leased by auction at the Court House, Clyde, on Wednesday, the 16th of August, 1871, immediately after the sale of Crown Lands. For conditions of lease apply to the auctioneer, or to the undersigned:

WANTED:

  • A Teacher for the Side School, Port Molyneux. Salary, Β£75 per annum, and School fees and allowance for Rent. Applications, with testimonials, to be lodged with the undersigned on or before the 19th instant.

NOTICES

NOTICE -- Warepa Road Board:

The Rate-Roll for 1871-72, revised and corrected, lies open to the inspection of ratepayers within the district at the Schoolhouse, and may be seen on any day within the next 14 lawful days, between the hours of 10 and 4.

THE North-East Harbour Local Road Board:

Hereby notify their intention of applying to the General Road Board at their next meeting for permission to levy a Road Rate of One Shilling per Acre on all the rateable property of the district for the year ending June, 1872. The Assessment Roll will be open for inspection at the Schoolhouse till the 29th August.

Notice is hereby given that the Rate-Roll of the above-named district lies for inspection at the house of Mr. Alex Fleming within the said district for fourteen days from this date.
