[The following appointment is re-gazetted in consequence of the locality of the Pound having been changed.]
NOTIFICATION
Of the Establishment of a Pound at Clutha.
NOTICE is hereby given, that by virtue of the powers vested in me by the "Impounding Ordinance 1862," I have established a Pound on Section 4, Block XXXV, Clutha District, in the Province of Otago; and that I have appointed
GEORGE BAIN,
of Balclutha, in the said Province, to be Keeper of the said Pound.

NOTICE TO MARINERS.
MARINERS are hereby informed that on and after the 1st of August next, a Red Light will be exhibited between sunset and sunrise from a lamp erected at Black Jack Point, in the Harbor of Dunedin.

Of Impounding Notices:—
4th August, Friday noon, two Cows, one Bull Calf, one Heifer, and three Geldings will be sold at Clyde Pound.
4th August, Friday noon, a Cow, two Heifers, and a Bull will be sold at West Taieri Pound.
4th August, Friday noon, a bay Cob will be sold at South Dunedin Pound.

TENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Friday, the 1st September next, for the performance of the Steam Tug Service in the Port of Dunedin, for Twelve Months, by a suitable Steamer of not less than (70) seventy horse power. The Master of the Tug must be qualified to act, and be licensed by the Government as a Pilot for the aforementioned Port.

DINE HILL DISTRICT ROAD BOARD.—Invite
Tenders to Form and Gravel about 15 chains of Road, situate in Woodhaugh Valley. Specifications, &c., may be seen at my house N.E. Valley, and tenders received on and up to the 2nd day of August, 1871.

Tenders to break and spread 60 cubic yards of 2½-inch Metal, and other works, on No. 8 Road of said district. Specifications, &c., may be seen at my house N.E. Valley, and tenders received on and up to the 2nd day of August, 1871.
