CORRECTION.—To Anderson’s Bay Road Board

Statement of Account, which appeared on page 288 of Gazette, dated 28th June, 1871—Add under expenditure, "Stamps, 4s."


THE PINE HILL LOCAL ROAD BOARD

The Pine Hill Local Road Board notify their intention to apply, at the next sitting (in August) of the General Road Board, for authority to levy a rate of one shilling per acre, for the year ending June, 1872. The Assessment Roll is open for inspection at my house, N. E. Valley, on and up to the 24th instant.—Henry Duncan, Clerk to the Board, 5th July, 1871.


THE NORTH-EAST VALLEY LOCAL ROAD BOARD

The North-East Valley Local Road Board notify their intention to apply at the next sitting of the General Road Board, in August, for permission to levy a Rate of Sixpence in the Pound, on annual value of all buildings, &c., for the year ending June, 1872. The Assessment Roll is open for inspection, at Mr. Thomas Brown’s Hotel, North-east Valley, on and up to the 19th instant.—Henry Duncan, Clerk to the Board, 4th July, 1871.


WAKARI ROAD BOARD

Notice is hereby given of the intention of Wakari Road Board to apply to the General Road Board, at its first meeting, for leave to levy a Rate of One Shilling per Pound, on the Valuation Roll of the district. The Assessment Roll can be inspected in Wakari School, for fourteen days after the 15th day of July, 1871.—D. M’Lachlan, Clerk to Wakari Road Board.


GREEN ISLAND LOCAL ROAD BOARD

The Rate-Roll for the year 1871–72 may be seen daily (Sundays excepted) at the residence of the undersigned for 14 days from this date.—J. J. Eagerty, Clerk, Green Island, 17th July, 1871.

We, the Green Island Local Road Board, hereby make application at the next General Meeting for permission to levy a Highway Rate of one shilling in the pound for the year 1871–72. The Rate Roll can be inspected at my house for 14 days after this notice.—Thos. C. Burt, Clerk to the Board.


WAIMATUKU ROAD DISTRICT.—NOTICE

The ratepayers in the above Road District who have not paid the Highway Rate for the year 1870–71, are requested to pay their rates to me at the Schoolhouse, Flint’s Bush, without delay. Defaulters will be proceeded against as directed by the Otago Roads Ordinance 1865.—James Fullarton, Clerk and Collector to the Board, 7th July, 1871.


GREEN ISLAND LOCAL ROAD BOARD
