PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that alphabetical lists of claims to have names inserted in the Citizens’ Roll, for year 1871-72, have been prepared, and may be inspected at the Town Clerk’s office, Manse street; at the Odd Fellows Hall, George street; at the Caledonian Society’s Grand Stand, St. David’s street; and at the office of the Mayor’s Court, Maclagan street.

CORPORATION OF CROMWELL.
HEREBY give notice that the Nomination of Candidates for the office of Mayor of the Incorporated Town of Cromwell will take place at 12 o’clock noon on Thursday, the 13th of July, 1871; and the Nomination of Councillors or Auditors on Wednesday, the 26th day of July, 1871.
And I further give notice that if more than one candidate be nominated for the Mayoralty, a poll will be taken on Friday, 21st July; and if more than two Councillors or Auditors, a poll will be taken on Tuesday, 1st August, 1871.
