Secretary for Land and Works until noon of
Tuesday, 23rd May, for
Contract No. 562—Gravelling about 25 chains
of road, Lower Mataura District.
Specifications may be seen and Forms of Tender
obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and
Works, Dunedin, or at the Post-office, Mataura Bridge.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender
for Contract No. 562.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the
lowest or any Tender.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender
for Contract No. 563.”

GOODWOOD ROAD DISTRICT BOARD invite
Tenders for the following Road Works:
Contract No. 1 — Forming Road near Bobby’s
Head
No. 2 — Road opposite Goodwood House
No. 3 — Road near Pleasant River
No. 4 — 73 Chains forming Road and Culverts
No. 5 — 46 Chains of Road formation.
Plans and Specifications may be seen on and after
May 15th, at the house of Mr. Preston, Goodwood;
and tenders lodged on or before noon, Friday, May
26th, 1871. The Board does not undertake to accept
the lowest or any Tender.

NOTICE.—Tenders for Road Formation.—Con-
tracts Nos. 1 to 6 will be received at the Post
Office, Port Molyneux, till Thursday, the 18th inst., at
noon; where specifications may also be seen. The work
will be shown on the ground on Tuesday, the 16th

ROSLYN ROAD BOARD.—Tenders for the com-
pletion of William street and widening a por-
tion of Anne street, will be received up to 6 p.m. on
Monday, the 22nd inst. Plans and Specifications to
be seen at the Kaikorai Schoolhouse between the hours
of 12 and 1 and 3 and 4 p.m. The lowest or any ten-

TO CONTRACTORS.
ESTIMATES wanted, for the construction of Road
Works in the Flagstaff Road District, as fol-
low, viz.:—
1st. For Contract No. 2 of 1, Whare Flat
2nd. For Contract No. 2 of 2, do do
3rd. For Contract No. 3 do do
4th. For the making of creek fords, and ap-
proaches thereto, and the diversion of the
Whare Creek on Contract No. 4.
Plans and specifications may be seen at the School-
house, Whare Flat, up to Friday, the 26th inst., and
tenders must be lodged with the Chairman of the Road
Board at his house at Flagstaff, not later than 12 noon
of Saturday, the 27th inst.
Mr. Cameron, Woodside, will point out the different
works to intending contractors on Tuesday, the 23rd
inst., and will attend for this purpose on that day at
the Schoolhouse at 1 p.m.—By order,

Walks, 8 feet wide by 6 inches deep.
Tenders to be left with Wm. Snow on or before 31st
May, 1871. Lowest or any tender not necessarily

PILES Wanted, Black Pine, Manuka, or Totara,
30 feet long, not less than 14in. diameter, and
6in. diameter at top end. Parties may tender for any
less number they are able to deliver within 14 days.
