Tenders obtained at the Survey Offices, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Tenders to be accompanied by a deposit or marked cheque, for 10 per cent. of the amount, and to be endorsed "Tender for Survey Contract No. 58."

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.


TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land Works until Noon of Monday, 13th February, for Contract No. 68, Survey of 3,650 acres, Mid Wakatipu district, Run 324.

Plans and specification may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Tenders to be endorsed "Tender for Contract No. 68," and to be accompanied by the usual deposit.

PORTOBELLO ROAD BOARD.—Fresh Tenders are invited until Saturday, the 11th of February, for Quarrying and Breaking road metal.

No. 1 contract—about 350 cubic yards
No. 2 contract— do.
No. 3 contract—about 200 do.

As same time, separate Tenders are invited for carting, spreading, and blinding No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, metals. Specifications and all other information will be given by James Muir, William Geary, or James North. WILLIAM IRVINE, Clerk to Portobello Road Board.—Portobello, 30th February, 1871.


PURAKANUI AND DEBORAH BAY ROAD DISTRICTS.—Tenders will be received by the General Road Board up to Saturday the 18th instant, for clearing about chains of Bush, on the Port Chalmers and Heads Roads, passing sections 90, 91 and 92, block VI, North Harbor and Blueskin Survey District, and dividing blocks VI and IV.

Plan and Specification may be seen at the Office of the General Road Board, Dunedin, and at the Office of the Harbor Master, Port Chalmers.

The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

HURIRI ROAD BOARD.—Tenders will be received by the Clerk to the Board, until Monday, the 20th February next, for formation of Roads, building of culverts, and erection of bridges.

Mr. Wm. M’Lay will show work to be done at the west end of the flat, on Wednesday, the 15th February, at 11 o’clock forenoon.

Robert M’Lay will show work to be done at the east end of the flat on same day, at two o’clock afternoon.

NOTICE is hereby given that Sections 1 to 48, Block XVII, Balclutha, will be offered for sale by Public Auction by Mr. R. W. Capstick at the Crown Hotel, Balclutha, on Monday, 20th day of February, 1871, at noon.


Monday, 13th February, at noon.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sale by auction of the exclusive right to depasture stock on sections 1, 2, and 3 (being Clutha Sand Spit), Coast district, for 1871, will take place at the Auction Rooms of Mr. R. W. Capstick, Tokomairiro, on Monday the 13th day of February next at noon. Upset price of License £10.


Also, at the same time and place, Section 34, Block I, Clarendon District, will be offered for sale by auction, at the upset price of 10s. per acre.


NOTICE is hereby given that applications will be received at the Land Office, Dunedin, for the remaining part of Block 3, North Harbor and Blueskin District on and after Thursday, the second day of March next.

NOTICE.

CROWN GRANTS for the Land, and in favor of the persons after-mentioned, are now ready for delivery; and attention is directed to the following clauses of the “Crown Grants Act 1866.”

Clause XXXIX.—There shall be paid upon all Grants to be hereafter issued, which may be left in the charge or custody of any Commissioner of Crown Lands or other officer charged with the delivery of the same, a fee of sixpence for every month during which they shall be so left after the expiration of three months from the date of the notice in the Gazette of the Province wherein the lands are situate, that such Grants are ready for delivery.

Clause XL.—There shall be paid upon all Grants issued prior to the passing of this Act, and left as aforesaid in the custody of the officer charged with the delivery thereof, a fee of sixpence per month for every month during which they shall be so left after two months subsequent to the passing of this Act.
