MAHAWK LOCAL ROAD BOARD.—Wanted Tenders for making 110 yards of metal, likewise spreading 93 yards, also clearing 10 chains of bush of the Main District Road. Contractors to call upon Mr. William Sanderson upon Friday, 3rd February, at one o’clock p.m., when the works will be pointed out. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. All tenders to be in by Monday, the 6th February, at noon.

FLAGSTAFF ROAD DISTRICT.—To Contractors—Tenders are wanted by the Flagstaff Road Board for the Construction of Road Works, four different Sections, at the Whare Flat.

The Drawings and Specifications to be seen at the Engineer’s Office, Rattray street, where forms of tender, and schedules of quantities may be obtained.

Tenders properly endorsed and addressed to the Chairman of the Flagstaff Road Board, to be sent in by noon of Saturday, the 4th February, at 2 p.m.

NOTICE.—BROAD BAY ROAD BOARD request Fresh Tenders for the following Works, (owing to an oversight in the preparation of the first specifications)—

1st. For certain alterations on No. 3 road line. Work and specifications will be shewn by Mr. R. Stewart, Limekilns, till noon of 10th February.

2nd. Clearing and Formation of 20 chains, more or less, of road line No. 8. Specifications, &c., will be shewn by Mr. Seaton till noon of the 9th February.

PORTOBELLO ROAD BOARD.—Fresh Tenders are invited until Saturday, the 11th of February, for Quarrying and Breaking road metal.
