ANDERSON\'S BAY ROAD BOARD.—Ratepayers in the above district are requested to take notice that all rates for the current Year must be paid to me on or before the 25th January, 1871, otherwise they will be sued for at once. No other notice will be given.—JAMES SAMUEL, Collector, Silverton, 11th January, 1871.

OTAKIA POUND.—One of the bullocks that was impounded on the 19th December last has been claimed by one Thomas Johnston yesterday, the 28th. He resides in the West Taieri district.—SAMUEL O\'KANE, Poundkeeper of the Otakia Pound.

WAIPORI POUND.—All the cattle impounded here have been claimed, but the Bull.

IMPOUNDED on the 30th day of December, 1870, Black Filly, blaze face, hind feet white, branded JC off shoulder; bay Gelding, branded G near shoulder, by Robert Westwood, Clyde, supposed to belong to S. M. Clark and Thos. George, for trespassing on farm at Clyde, and destroying crops, and in default of being released, the above horses will be sold at the Public Pound, at Leaning Rock, Clyde, on Friday, the 27th day of January, 1871, at 12 o\'clock, noon.—WILLIAM WILLIAMS, Poundkeeper of the Leaning Rock, Clyde Pound.

IMPOUNDED on the 3rd day of January, 1871, by Mr. Irving, Ranger, two Bills, about two years old, no brand, for trespassing on the Waihola Hundreds; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Tokomairiro on Friday, the 27th day of January, 1871, at 12 o\'clock noon.—JAMES GOODALL, Poundkeeper of the Public Pound, Tokomairiro.

IMPOUNDED on the eighth day of January, 1871, one brown Mare, branded B near shoulder, 3 9 near rib, G under saddle (near side), star on forehead, by Robert Sutherland, Flag Swamp, owner unknown, for trespassing on growing crop at Flag Swamp, for which no damages are claimed; and in default of being released, the above Mare will be sold at the Public Pound at Hawksbury on Friday, the 27th day of January, 1871, at twelve o\'clock noon.—ARCH. DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—The Partnership hitherto subsisting between the undersigned under the style of the "Woodhaugh Bone and Flax Mill Company" has this day been Dissolved by mutual consent, and Edward Campbell is authorised to liquidate all debts due by the late Company.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership between the undersigned Joseph Bousfield and James Lambert, carrying on business as Fellmongers, in the Upper and Lower Kaikorai Districts, in the Province of Otago, under the style or firm of "Bousfield and Lambert," has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.
And notice is hereby further given, that the business of the late firm will continue to be carried by the said James Lambert.

CITY OF DUNEDIN—BYELAW NO. VII.
A Bye-law to provide for the better rule and government of the City of Dunedin.

IN pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in Section 18 of Part 13 of the "Municipal Corporations Act 1867," the Council of the City of Dunedin ordain as follows, that is to say:—
Any person guilty of any of the following offences, omissions, or neglects, within the City of Dunedin, shall, on being convicted of any such offence, omission, or neglect, be liable to pay any penalty not exceeding Five Pounds (£5):
1st. "Any owner or driver of any hay cart or other vehicle who, whilst such hay cart or other vehicle is passing through or along any street in the City, unloaded, neglects to have the projecting frame detached from the body of the cart in such manner as not to be an obstruction to the public, nor dangerous to life or limb,"
