DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership between the undersigned Edmund Peel Kenyon and Henry Dyer Maddock, carrying on business as Barristers, Attorneys-at-Law, and Proctors, at Dunedin, in the Province of Otago and Colony of New Zealand, under the style or firm of “Kenyon and Maddock,” has been this day dissolved by mutual consent.

AND NOTICE is hereby further given that the business of the late Firm will continue to be carried on by Mr. Kenyon.

Dated at Dunedin, this twenty-seventh day of September, 1870.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership between Robert Buchanan and Thomas Wright, in the trade of butchers, and all other trades in which they may be concerned as co-partners, at Waipori, in the Province of Otago, under the firm of “Wright and Buchanan,” was this day dissolved by mutual consent; and in future the business will be carried on by the said Robert Buchanan, who will pay all accounts owing by and receive all debts due to the said partnership in the regular course of trade.

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has not been advised to exercise the power of disallowance in respect of them.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by “The Otago and Southland Union Act, 1870,” it is enacted that the said Act shall come into operation on such day as the Governor shall, by Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette, appoint:

Now therefore I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, G.C.M.G., the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and appoint that “The Otago and Southland Union Act, 1870,” shall come into operation on the sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir George Ferguson Bowen, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the said Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same, at the Government House at Wellington; and issued under the seal of the said Colony, this seventeenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
