WAIWERA ROAD BOARD.—Notice is hereby given, that the Waiwera Local Road Board intend to make application to the General Road Board, at their meeting on the first Thursday of October next, for permission to levy a Highway Rate of one Shilling in the Pound on the annual value of all lands and houses within the district.

MERTON ROAD BOARD.—Notice—It is the intention of the Merton Road Board to apply to the General Road Board, in October, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of Threepence (3d.) per acre for the year 1870.
