NOTICE is hereby given, that the Partnership between the undersigned Alexander Jerusalem Smyth, John Howat, John Francis Herbert, Edward Herbert, and Archibald M’Kinlay, in the trades or businesses of Saw Mill Proprietors, Tallow Manufacturers, and Fellmongers, and all other trades or businesses in which they may be concerned as co-partners at Tapanui, in the Province of Otago, and elsewhere, under the firm of “Herbert, Smyth and Co.,” was this day dissolved by mutual consent, so far as concerns the said Alexander Jerusalem Smyth, and in future the business will be carried on by the said John Howat, John Francis Herbert, Edward Herbert, and Archibald M’Kinlay, under the name or style of “Herbert, Howat and Co.,” and who will pay and receive all debts owing from or to the said partnership in the regular course of trade.
