2. Contracts Nos. 511, 512, 513, 514, 515, 516 and 517—Maintenance of portions of the road “East Taieri Bridge to Tokomairiro.”

Plans and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin; or at Police Station, Tokomairiro.

Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contracts Nos. 506, 507, 508, 509, 510, 511, 512, 513, 514, 515, 516, or 517,” as the case may be.

Contract No. 489—Construction of a Timber Bridge over Kilmog Creek, Main North Road.

WANTED, by the Purakanui Road Board, Tenders for keeping Roads in the said District in Repair till June 25th, 1871.

Also, Tenders for about 60 Chains Road Formation. Intending contractors will meet at Mr. Horn’s at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 29th, and be shown the work. Specifications can be seen when the work is shown, or at the shop of Mr. W. Mawson, bootmaker, Port Chalmers, and tenders must be lodged with the undersigned by noon on Tuesday, August 30. NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.—Tenders will be received for Contract No. 2, up to Friday, the 2nd of September.

The former at the upset price of 20s. per acre, the latter at 25s. per acre.
