PUBLICANS’ LICENSES.—The Quarterly Meeting for granting Licenses, &c., will be held in the various Magistrates’ Offices throughout the Province proclaimed under the Ordinance, at noon upon Tuesday, the sixth day of September, 1870. All applications and notices of business must be lodged with the Clerks of Court respectively at least fourteen clear days before the said meeting.

A MEETING of the Education Board will be held at the Government Buildings, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 18th August, 1870, at noon.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be helden at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Monday the fifth day of September next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance. Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Monday, the twelfth day of September, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.
