PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
I, WILLIAM ALEXANDER TOLMIE, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do by virtue and in exercise of the power vested in the Superintendent of the Province of Otago in this behalf by the “Taieri District Roads Lands Ordinance 1864,” and of the powers vested in me as Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, hereby proclaim and declare that all those Roads and all those portions of Roads in the Province of Otago, mentioned and referred to in the said “Taieri District Roads Lands Ordinance 1864,” and particularly described in the Schedule hereto, shall from and after the day of the date hereof, cease to be public Roads or thoroughfares, and shall no longer form part of the public Roads in the Road District in the Province of Otago, mentioned in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed.
SCHEDULE.
North Taieri.
120 chains in length 60 links wide from north-east angle of section 7 block XV, Taieri Survey District to section 9, block XVI, Taieri Survey District: boundaries, north, sections 1 of 34, 53, 54, 55, and part of 56, irregular block, Taieri; south, by sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, block XV, Taieri, and sections 7 and 8 block XVI, Taieri Survey District.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Otago, this twelfth day of July, 1870.

NOTICE.
Of certain Land in the Town of Hawksbury, in the Province of Otago, having been set apart for purposes of Public Recreation for the Town of Hawksbury and its Inhabitants.
By His Honor William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,” recommend that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart for purposes of public recreation for the Town of Hawksbury and its inhabitants; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore, I, William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for purposes of public recreation for the Town of Hawksbury and its inhabitants (that is to say)—
All that parcel of land situate in the Township of Hawksbury, containing ten (10) acres, more or less, bounded towards the north-east by blocks X and XI, Hawksbury Town, towards the north by block VIII of the said Town, towards the south-east by the Lagoon, and towards the south-west by the Recreation Reserve, be reserved for the purposes of public recreation for the use of the inhabitants.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be reserved for purposes of Public Recreation for the Town of Cromwell and its inhabitants; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore, I, William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for purposes of public recreation for the Town of Cromwell and its inhabitants (that is to say)—
All that area in the Province of Otago, containing by admeasurement one (1) acre three (3) roods and five (5) poles, more or less, situate in the Town of Cromwell, being block numbered nine (IX) on the map of the said district: bounded towards the north-west by Crown lands, three hundred and ten (310) links; towards the north-east by Melmore Terrace, one thousand two hundred and seventy (1270) links, and six hundred and eighty (680) links; and towards the south by Crown lands, one thousand nine hundred and seventy (1970) links; be set apart for purposes of public recreation for the citizens of that Township.

WHEREAS the Provincial Council of Otago have under and by virtue of Section 62 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,” recommended that the lands hereinafter described should be set apart for purposes of public recreation at Green Island; and it is expedient that the said lands should be so reserved for that purpose: Now therefore, I, William Alexander Tolmie, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf, do hereby publish and declare that I have made and dedicated the lands hereinafter described a Reserve for purposes of public recreation at Green Island (that is to say)—
All that area in the Dunedin and East Taieri District, containing by estimation three hundred and seventy-six (376) acres, more or less, being part of block numbered fourteen (XIV) on the map of the said district: bounded towards the north-west by a road line, two thousand and fifty (2050) links, by sections numbered respectively 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, and 73, Green Island Bush District, seven thousand two hundred and eighty (7280) links also by sections numbered respectively 120, 121, 122 and 123, Green Island Bush District, two thousand (2000) links; towards the north-east by the said section numbered 63, one thousand six hundred (1600) links, by a road line and section numbered 124, Green Island Bush District, two thousand eight hundred and sixty (2860) links, also by section numbered 125, two thousand four hundred (2400) links; towards the south-east by a road line, two thousand three hundred and thirty (2330) links; towards the south by the Ocean, thirteen thousand
