EDUCATION RESERVES, at Shotover.

The lease of the following mentioned Reserves will be disposed of by auction at Queenstown, upon Saturday, June 25th, immediately after the sale of the Crown Lands. Maps, and copies of the Leasing Regulations, will be seen on application to Mr. Spence.

FIRE AT LAKE TUAKITOTO.--£50 REWARD.

WHEREAS a Fire occurred at Lake Tuakaitoto on the night of the 17th May, 1870, by which five stacks of corn, the property of John Esler, of the value of about one hundred pounds were destroyed:

And whereas there is reason to believe that the said fire was the act of an incendiary; notice is hereby given, that a reward of £50 will be paid by the Otago Provincial Government for such information as will lead to the conviction of the person who caused the said fire.

SUPREME COURT.

Notice is hereby given, that a sitting of the Supreme Court, for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business, will be held at the Supreme Court-house, Dunedin, on Monday, the sixth day of June next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizance to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given, that the “Civil Cases” will not be called on for trial until Monday, the thirteenth day of June, at ten o'clock in the forenoon.

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EDUCATION BOARD.

A special meeting of the Education Board will be held in the Government Buildings, Dunedin, upon Thursday, the 9th June, 1870, at noon.

£2 REWARD.--Strayed from Waikouaiti on or about the 24th Sept., 1869, black Horse, heavy draught; no visible brand. Anyone giving such information as will lead to recovery of same to Anderson Mowat, Dunedin, or T. Anderson and Co., Hawksbury, will receive the above reward.

ELECTION OF ROAD BOARDS.

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the “Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865,” the annual meetings of persons liable to be rated are hereby appointed to be held at the times and places within the several Districts aftermentioned, for the purpose of electing qualified persons to serve as members of the several Local Boards for the ensuing year.
