TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Friday, 13th May, for—
Contract No. 484.—Carting 1800 cubic yards of road metal from Reserve at Water of Leith to main road through Dunedin.
Specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contract No. 484.”
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Monday, 16th May, for the Survey of about 360 acres North Harbour and Blueskin District into sections, and the unsurveyed portion of Blueskin Village into town allotments.
Plan and specifications may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the Survey Office, Dunedin.
Tenders to be endorsed “Tender for Survey Contract No. 48,” and must be accompanied by a deposit, or marked cheque for 10 per cent. of the amount.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Tenders to be marked “Tender for Survey Contract No. 49,” and to be accompanied by a deposit or marked cheque for 10 per cent. of the amount.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

TENDERS will be received at this office up to the 23rd May next from persons wishing to lease the Police Paddock at Tokomairiro, containing 46 acres, fronting the Main South Road, and adjoining the Police Station, being section 104, block XII, Tokomairiro District, for a period of three years. The paddock is securely fenced.

Specifications can be seen and tenders lodged with the undersigned up till 10 a.m. on Friday, the 6th of May.—Joseph Mawson, Clerk Purakanui Road Board.
CHALFONT.—Tenders will be received up to May 6th, for erecting a Stone Bridge over the Little Kuri Stream, and for Approaches thereto.
Plans and specifications may be seen at the Post Office, Hampden, or at my office, Moray Place, Dunedin.—John Hardy, Civil Engineer.
OTARA.—Tenders are invited up to May 11th for work on the Waiareka and Taipo Roads, and for five chains of paving at the Kakanui landing place.
