GOLD FIELDS.—Just Published, Price 2s. (the usual allowance to the Trade on taking not less than twelve), Pamphlet containing Regulations of the Otago Gold Fields, Gold Mining Leases Regulations, Agricultural Leases Regulations, Rules for Regulating Proceedings and Practice of Wardens’ Courts, the Gold Fields Act 1866, the Gold Mining Claim Drainage Act 1868, and the Gold Fields Act Amendment Act 1869. If sent by Post, the following extra charges will be made: for one copy, 8d; two, 1s 4d; three, also 1s 4d; four, 2s; five, 2s 8d; six, also 2s 8d; seven, 3s 4d; eight, 4s; nine, also 4s. Nine is the largest quantity allowed by Postal Regulations in one parcel. Pamphlet may be had from Provincial Government Storekeeper, Dunedin.

OTANOMOMO ROAD RATE NOTICE.—Parties who have not paid their Rates for 1869-70 are requested to do so within fourteen days from this date, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken to recover the same.—JOHN FORTEOUS, Collector.

COPMANHURST ROAD DISTRICT.—The Local Board hereby notify their intention of applying, at the next sitting of the General Road Board, for authority to levy a Highway Rate of fourpence per acre. The Assessment Roll for the above district is now ready, and may be inspected at the School-house, Otepopo, for fourteen days from the date of this notice.

NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS IN BRIGHTON ROAD DISTRICT.—It is hereby notified to the ratepayers who have not paid the Highway Rate, that the commutation money due by them in this district, for the year ending 25th June, 1870, must be paid to me, within fourteen days from this date, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery of the same.—ALLAN CAMERON, Collector.
