SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business will be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the first day of March next, at the hour of ten o'clock in the forenoon; at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance. Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Thursday, the tenth day of March next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon.
WANTED a Teacher for Kuri Bush Side School. Salary, for the present, £50 per annum, and the School Fees, with a house and 10 acres of land. Applications, with testimonials, to be lodged with the undersigned, on or before the 21st March.

SANDYMOUNT ROAD DISTRICT.—The Precept having been issued authorising the collection of a Highway Rate of nine pence in the pound, for the year 1869-70, notice is hereby given to ratepayers in said district to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, on or before the 16th day of March, 1870.—W. DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—Notice is hereby given that all partnerships hitherto existing between us have been by deed dissolved, as and from the first day of April, 1870. All accounts due to the firms of “Shrimski and Moss,” and “S. E. Shrimski,” respectively, must be paid to Mr. S. E. Shrimski, on or before the first of March, 1870, or legal proceedings will be commenced without notice for the recovery thereof. All accounts against the said firms are requested to be sent to Mr. S. E. Shrimski, before the said first day of March next, after which no accounts will be recognised.

SIGNAL HILL ROAD DISTRICT.—The Precept authorising the collection of the highway rate in the above-named district, for the year 1869-70, having been issued by the General Board, ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, Signal Hill, on or before the seventh day of March.—HUGH BROWN, Clerk and Collector. 7th February, 1870.
BRIGHTON ROAD DISTRICT.—The precept authorising the collection of the Highway Rate in the above-named district, for the year 1869-70, having been issued; Ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, on or before the 8th of March next, on which day all rates must be paid, otherwise legal proceedings will be taken to enforce payment. NOTICE.—The Local Board of the Herbert Road District hereby notify their intention of applying to the General Road Board for authority to levy a highway rate of one shilling per pound of annual value of all lands, houses, &c., within the boundaries of said district. Ratepayers in the above district may inspect the assessment roll at the School-house, Otepopo, for fourteen days from date hereof (Sundays excepted).—ALEX. PIRRIE, Clerk and Collector. PUERUA ROAD RATE 1869-70.—The precept authorising the collection of the above rate, having been issued; Ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, on or before the 10th March next.—JAS. M'EWAN, Collector.

IMPOUNDED on the 26th day of February, 1870, by W. Johnston, Inspector of Nuisances, West Hawksbury, one Bay Mare, branded C on near shoulder, has been lately blistered on both fore legs; piece of flax on neck; owner unknown; for trespassing on Town of West Hawksbury, for which 2s. 6d. damages are claimed, and in default of being released, the above Mare will be sold at the Public Pound at Hawksbury, on the 25th day of March, 1870, at 12 o'clock noon.—ARCHD. VALENTINE, Poundkeeper of the Hawksbury Pound.
IMPOUNDED, on the 26th day of February, 1870, by the order of L. Moore, Esq., Shag Valley Run, 1 bay mare, branded like B near neck, G near shoulder; 1 chestnut gelding, blotch like 2 near shoulder, star on forehead; 1 black draught filly, no visible brand, both hind feet white; one black light draught mare, no visible brand, near hind foot white, spot on forehead—owners unknown; for trespassing on Shag Valley Run, for which 10s. each damages are claimed, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound at Hawksbury, on the twenty-fifth day of March, 1870, at 12 o'clock noon.—ARCHD.
