SIGNAL HILL ROAD DISTRICT.—The Precept authorising the collection of the highway rate in the above-named district, for the year 1869 70, having been issued by the General Board, ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, Signal Hill, on or before the seventh day of March.—HUGH BROWN, Clerk and Collector.

WAREPA MAIN DISTRICT SCHOOL.—Wanted, a Teacher. Salary £100 and all the School fees. Applications with testimonials to be sent in to the chairman of School Committee, on or before 28th February, 1870.—WILLIAM CHRISTIE, Clerk.

SUPREME COURT.—Notice is hereby given, that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Criminal and Civil Business will be holden at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the first day of March next, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon; at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances to appear as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given, that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Thursday, the tenth day of March next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—Notice is hereby given that all partnerships hitherto existing between us have been by deed dissolved, as and from the first day of April, 1870. All accounts due to the firms of "Shrimski and Moss," and "S. E. Shrimski," respectively, must be paid to Mr. S. E. Shrimski, on or before the first of March, 1870, or legal proceedings will be commenced without notice for the recovery thereof. All accounts against the said firms are requested to be sent to Mr. S. E. Shrimski, before the said first day of March next, after which no accounts will be recognised.

Notice.—The precept authorising the collection of the Highway Rate, for the Finegand Road District, for the year 1869-70, having been issued; Ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, on or before 18th February, 1870.—G. HARLINGTON ROAD RATE—1869-70.—The precept authorising the collection of the above rate, having been issued; Ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me, at my house, on or before the 18th of February next.—JOSEPH MORRIS, Collector. Harlington, 24th January, 1870.

CHALFONT ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice to Ratepayers.—All rates not paid for the current year, 1869-70, must be paid to me, at my house, Hampden, on or before the 22nd February, 1870; otherwise, legal proceedings will be taken for the recovery of the same.—PETER W. YOUNG, Clerk and Collector.

AIRLIE BANK, January 13th, 1870.—The Ratepayers of the North-East Harbor Road District are requested to pay their rates to me, at my residence, on or before the 16th February. Legal proceedings will be taken to recover all rates unpaid at the above date. For the convenience of parties living at a distance, I shall attend at the school-house of the District, on Wednesday, the 9th February, from 2 o’clock till 6 p.m.—ROBERT CHRISTIE, Collector.

NOTICE.—The Deborah Bay District Road Board intends to apply to the General Road Board, at its next meeting in March, for authority to levy a highway rate of sixpence per acre throughout the district for the year 1869 and 70. The assessment roll can be inspected at my house between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. any day not being a public holiday or Sunday.—GEO. C. HITCHCOCK, Clerk to said Road Board.

ELECTION OF LOCAL BOARDS ROAD TRUSTEES.—Ratepayers in the under-mentioned Road District having failed to elect a Local Board to serve for the current year ending June, 1870. Notice is hereby given, that a meeting is appointed to be held for the purpose of electing five duly qualified persons to serve as a Local Board as under:—
Incholme—Friday, 25th February, at the house of Mr. J. R. Elder, at 7 p.m.
