Note.—Those marked include sheep within the Province of Southland at that time a part of Otago. Up to 1867 there was no difference between returns received from Freeholders or Runholders, so that it is impossible properly to distinguish the nature of the property on which the sheep were depastured until after that date.

In the matter of Stephen Stamp Hutchinson, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, and Colony of New Zealand, gas engineer, a debtor, and in the matter of “The Bankruptcy Act 1867.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named Stephen Stamp Hutchinson has this day been adjudged a bankrupt, and that he is required to surrender on Monday, the thirtieth day of November instant, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon: And notice is hereby further given that the first meeting of the creditors of the said bankrupt is appointed to be held at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, on the day and at the hour aforesaid.

Dated this twenty-third day of November, 1868.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sufficient number of the creditors of the above-named bankrupt not having attended at the meeting appointed by the order of adjudication to be held this day, the Registrar did, in pursuance of the power in that behalf conferred upon him by “The Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act 1868,” adjourn the said meeting until Monday, the thirtieth day of November instant, at the hour of ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin.

Dated this twenty-fourth day of November, 1868.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above-named John Bell Mudie has this day filed, in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland district, at Dunedin, a Declaration of Insolvency, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts.

In the matter of Nicholas Berrill, of Dunedin, in the Colony of New Zealand, Lighterman, adjudged Bankrupt on the thirty-first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight; and in the matter of “The Bankruptcy Act 1867.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the next day on which this Honorable Court shall sit in Bankruptcy has been appointed as a public sitting of this Honorable Court for the said Bankrupt to pass his last examination. And the said Bankrupt will then make application for his final discharge pursuant to the above-mentioned Act.

Dated this 24th day of November, 1868.
