PUBLIC NOTICE.—Under Section 1, Regulation VI, of the Otago Gold Fields Rules and Regulations.

Sufficient proof having been shown to me that that portion of the Otago Gold Fields described in the Schedule hereto annexed has been fairly tested, and is either wholly or for the greater part of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits, I hereby give notice that the same may be occupied by holders of miners’ rights in claims of the undernentioned size, namely:—One acre for each holder of a miners’ right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six acres altogether.

NOTE.—The results of all the self-registering instruments were recorded on the dates above given, and therefore occurred during the preceding 24 hours.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, as hotelkeepers, at Pigroot, under the firm of “Burgess and Creese,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

In the matter of JAMES O’GRADY, of Dunedin, and in the matter of “The Bankruptcy Act 1867.”

NOTICE is hereby given, that the said James O’Grady has this day been adjudged a bankrupt on his own petition, that Tuesday the twentieth day of October instant, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, has been appointed for the first meeting of Creditors, and that the said bankrupt is ordered then and there to surrender.
