NOTICE.—I do hereby notify that having received sufficient proof that the Twelve Mile Creek, commencing at its junction with the Arrow River, and terminating at the head of Beale’s Race, has been fairly tested, and is of an inferior character as regards the value of its gold deposits; Miners may occupy claims therein of the undermentioned size, viz:—One acre for each holder of a Miner’s Right, provided that no block claim shall comprise more than six acres altogether.

I desire to return my warm thanks for the expression of sympathy which these Addresses contain. Through the merciful interposition of Providence, the injury I received was but slight, and I believe no further evil consequences are to be anticipated from the wound. It has, however, been considered that I shall be unequal to any great exertion for some time, and therefore decided that it would be most advisable for me to return home direct.
