NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the copartnership hitherto existing between us, the undersigned, James Alexander Matthews, and Thomas Johnston, at Lawrence, in the Province of Otago, as newspaper proprietors and general printers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent; and notice is hereby further given, that the business will be carried on as heretofore by the said James Alexander Matthews, who will receive and pay all accounts due to and by the late firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—The partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, trading and known under the style of the Alexandra Dredging Co., has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, the affairs of the said Company being wound up. All claims against said Company, and all debts due to same, will be received or paid by Mr. Edward Halliday, of Alexandra. Claims must be rendered before the 30th April next.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—Notice is hereby given that the Partnership which existed between the undersigned John Richard Jones and MacLeod Clement Orbell, lately carrying on business as Sheep Farmers, in the Province of Otago, under the style of Jones and Orbell, was dissolved by mutual consent on the twenty-first day of February, 1868. All debts due to and by the late firm will be received and paid by the said MacLeod Clement Orbell.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION.—The partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned in the Province of Otago, as Coach Proprietors and Hotelkeepers, under the style or firm of Hoyt and Chaplin, has been dissolved by mutual consent, as and from the twenty-fifth day of February, now last past. The undersigned, John Thomas Chaplin, will discharge the liabilities of the late firm, and receive the debts due to it, receipts given by him in his sole name, or in the name of the late firm, being a valid discharge.

NOTICE is hereby given that I have this day filed a Declaration of Insolvency in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Dunedin, signed and attested, according to "The Bankruptcy Act, 1867," that I am in insolvent circumstances and unable to meet my engagements with my Creditors.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the said James Knox has been this day adjudicated a bankrupt; that Saturday, the 21st day of March instant, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, and the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, have been appointed as the time and place for the first meeting of Creditors, and that the bankrupt is required then and there to surrender.

PRIVATE ADVERTISEMENTS will be charged at the rate of 6d. per line. Late Advertisements and table matter, 1s. per line, first insertion.

THE GAZETTE (with Supplement) is published every Wednesday morning, and Notices for Insertion must be received at the Publisher’s Office not later than 2 p.m. on the Tuesday preceding. Advertisements received after that hour will be charged 1s. per line. Any irregularity in the receipt of those Gazettes which are given gratis by the Government should be reported at once to the Provincial Secretary.
