PROCLAMATION.
Road District of Montroyal.
By His Honor JAMES MACANDREW, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Otago, intituled the "Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865," it is amongst other things enacted that, until otherwise provided, pursuant to the provisions of the said Ordinance, there should be sixty-one Districts which should be named as specified in the Schedule to the said Ordinance annexed, marked B: And it is also by the said Ordinance provided that it should be lawful for the Superintendent, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, from time to time, by proclamation in the Gazette, to alter, vary, diminish, or enlarge the boundaries of any or all of such districts, and to increase the number of such districts by forming and naming new districts:
Now therefore, I, JAMES MACANDREW, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Otago, with the advice and consent of the Otago General Road Board, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area bounded as described in the Schedule hereto, shall, from the day of the date hereof, constitute the boundaries of the Montroyal District.
SCHEDULE.
Commencing at the north-east angle of section 12, block II, Hawksbury Survey District; thence, on the north, by the Township of Palmerston and block X, Moeraki Survey District; thence, on the west, by portions of blocks VII and VIII, Hawksbury Survey District, to the north-west angle of section 40, block II, Hawksbury Survey District; thence, on the south and south-east by sections 40, 41, 42, and 43, to Main North Road; thence by Main North Road to south-west angle of section 33, said block II; thence, on the south, by section 47, to Pleasant River; thence, on south-east and east, by section 33, to the north-east angle of said section; thence by a straight line through Bush Reserve, to south-west angle of section 6, block I; thence by section 6 and the Bush Reserve, to the south-east angle of section 3, said block I, Hawksbury Survey District; thence, on the east, by section 4, said block I; thence, on the north, by portion of section 64, and sections 63 and 62; thence, on the east, by said section 62 and section 61, block IV, Moeraki Survey District, to the starting point.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of Otago, this eleventh day (L.S.) of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

PORT CHARGES, OTAGO HARBOR.—Notice is hereby given, that Provincial Port Charges will henceforth be remitted to Whalers, and Vessels touching at the Port of Otago for repairs.

CROWN LANDS.—(Error in Gazette No. 528, March 3). Statement of the area and locality of the "Unsurveyed" Rural Lands in the Province, should be "Surveyed" Rural Lands.
AN Application under the 27th Section of "The Otago Waste Land Act, 1866," for the purchase of Section 2, Block XXV, Hawksbury, having been made to the Waste Land Board: Notice is hereby given, that the Section will be granted to the present applicant, at the price of £12 10s., unless other applications for the purchase of such Section are received at the Waste Land Office, on or before Monday, the 20th day of April next.

NOTE.—The results of the self-registering instruments were recorded on the dates above given, and therefore occurred in the previous 24 hours.
