Anderson’s Bay Road District shall comprise all that area commencing at the Eastern angle of Section 45, Upper Harbor East Survey District, and bounded on the East by the continuation of the boundary line between Sections 44 and 45, to road line between Section 41, Block III, Tomahawk Survey District, and Section 24, Block I, Otago Peninsula Survey District; on the South-east by that road line to Section 22, Block VIII, Anderson’s Bay Survey District; thence along North-eastern boundary of Sections 22, 21, 20, 19, 18 and 17, said Block VIII; thence along North-western boundary of said Section 17, and its continuation in the same direction to the Lagoon; thence by Lagoon to the Northern boundary of Block VII, Otago Peninsula Survey District; thence by said Northern boundary to the Eastern boundary of Caversham Road District; thence on the West by the Eastern boundary of said Road to North-west angle of Section 10, Block VII, Town District; thence on the West by Section 11, on South-west by road line to Dunedin Town Belt, and by said Dunedin Town Belt to Otago Harbor; thence following beach line of said Otago Harbor in an Easterly direction to South-east angle of Section 13 (Quarry Reserve), Block V, Anderson’s Bay Survey District; thence on the North and North-west by the South and South-eastern boundaries of the North-east Harbor Road district to starting point at Eastern angle of Section 45, Upper Harbor East Survey District.

NOTICE.—ROSLYN ROAD DISTRICT.—The precept authorising the collection of the highway rate of the Roslyn Road District for the year 1867-8 having been issued, ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to me at my house, Sunnyside, on or before 20th January next.

GENERAL ROAD BOARD.—PUBLIC NOTICE.
Notice in writing of all business to be brought before the General Board at the monthly meetings, must be given to the Clerk to the Board, and lodged in his office two clear days before the day appointed for such meeting to take place. Meetings of the Board, to be held at Provincial Government Buildings the first Thursday in every month, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.
NOTICE TO LOCAL ROAD BOARDS.—John Hardy, Land and Road Agent and Surveyor, Dunedin, is prepared to act for Local Boards and country settlers generally, in all the business connected with the General Road Board, the Education Board, or the Provincial Government.

IMPOUNDED, on the 23rd day of December, 1867, by Joseph Laverty, by order of Wm. Jones, Esq., Goodwood, 1 dark or iron grey Mare, branded H M on off shoulder; 1 Bay Mare, both fore fetlock joints white, star on forehead, white stripe on nose; 1 Brown Mare, star on forehead, part of near hind fetlock white, owners unknown, for trespassing on Goodwood enclosed paddocks, for Grey Mare £1 damages, and for Bay and Brown Mares 5s. damages each are claimed, and, in default of being released, the above Mares will be sold at the Public Pound, at Hawksbury, on Friday, 17th January, 1868, at 12 o’clock noon.
