TENDERS WANTED by the Goodwood Road Board for the making of six miles and 20 chains of road in the Goodwood Road District. Plans and specifications may be seen at the house of Mr. Joseph Preston, Goodwood. Tenders will be received until the 1st of January, 1868. The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received by the North East Harbour Road Board until Saturday, the 28th inst., for the formation of 50 chains of carriage road along the Beach from Vauxhall jetty towards and around Grant’s Braes estate. Specifications to be seen at my office, Walker street.

TENDERS wanted for the Erection of a four-roomed Residence for the Schoolmaster, Maungatua. Plans and specifications may be seen at the Schoolroom, West Taieri, until the 28th inst., and thereafter at the office of the Inspector of Schools, Dunedin, until the 2nd of January. Tenders to be sent to the Secretary of West Taieri School Committee, on or before the 3rd of January, 1868.
TENDERS wanted by the Goodwood Road Board for taking up the bridge now standing across the Pleasant River on Mr. Nielson’s ground, and fixing the same across the river where the Goodwood road crosses it. The Board will cart the bridge to the place required for re-erection. Tenders will be received at the house of Mr. Joseph Preston, Goodwood, until Wednesday, 8th January, 1868. The Board does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
WATER OF LEITH BRIDGE.—Separate tenders will be received at the Office of the Secretary for Land and Works until noon of Monday, 6th January, for Contracts Nos. 274 and 275, for erection of stone bridge, and stone and iron bridge at Water of Leith, Dunedin, on Northern Trunk Road. Tenders will also be received as above for Provincial Government Buildings, Contract No. 282—enclosing back ground at Provincial Government Buildings, erection of W. C.’s &c. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin. Tenders to be endorsed “Roads and Works Tender for Contracts No. 274, 275, 282,” as the case may be. The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

WANTED.—Tenders for Road Works, Culvert, &c., in Wakari District. Plans and Specifications may be seen at the School-house, Wakari, where tenders addressed to the Chairman of the District Board may be left up to Monday next, December 30, 1867.
WANTED SCHOOL MASTER for the North East Valley School. Salary £100 and fees, with house and 5 acres. Sealed applications to be sent by post to the clerk, Francis D. Campion, N.E. Valley, before January 13th, 1868.
TO CONTRACTORS.—The Caversham District Road Board request tenders for the repair and maintenance of the Forbury, Look-out Point, and Corstorphine (so far as embraced in district) roads for period ending June, 1868. Specifications may be seen at the shop of Mr. Wm. Simpson, Caversham, or Mr. James M’Indoe, Princes street, Dunedin.
