NOTICE
Of Closing certain Roads in the Bushey Road District.
WHEREAS it is intended to stop up those Roads which are described in the Schedule hereunder written, and which are also delineated on the map or plan mentioned and referred to in the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1866," a copy of which map or plan is deposited at the Public School of Palmerston,
Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1866," do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of the said Roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objection they may have to the stopping up of the said Roads, and to leave such statements addressed to me at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections shall not be considered by me.
SCHEDULE.
Bushey Road District.

One hundred and twenty chains in length, one chain wide, from Main North Road on section twenty-seven, block three, Moeraki Survey District, to south-east angle of section thirty-one, said block. Boundaries: north, sections twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine, thirty and thirty-one, said block and district; south, sections thirty-eight, thirty-nine, forty, forty-one, and forty-two, said block and district.

Forty chains in length, sixty links wide, from north-east angle of section forty-two, block three, Moeraki Survey District to Beach Road, at the north-east angle of section forty-three, said block and district. Boundaries: north and east, Coal Reserve; south and west, section forty-three and portion of section forty-two, said block and district.

Now therefore I, James Macandrew, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1865," do hereby give notice that all persons objecting to the stopping up of the said Roads, or any of them, are required to set forth a statement in writing of any well-grounded objection they may have to the stopping up of the said Roads, and to leave such statement addressed to me at my office in Dunedin, within sixty days from the date hereof, otherwise such objections shall not be considered by me.

Fifty-eight (58) chains in length, sixty links wide from District Road on section forty-five (45) block seven (7), Dunedin and East Taieri, to Abbott’s Creek. Boundaries: north, sections forty-five (45), sixty-seven (67), and part of fifty (50); south, part of forty-five (45) and part of fifty (50).

Twenty-four (24) chains in length, sixty (60) links wide from road on section fifty (50) to Abbott’s Creek. Boundaries: both sides section fifty (50), block seven (7), Dunedin and East Taieri.

Four (4) chains in length, one (1) chain wide Trunk Road on section forty-five (45) to Trunk Road on section forty-five (45). Boundaries: both sides section forty-five (45), block seven (7), Dunedin and East Taieri.

Ninety (90) chains in length, sixty (60) links from Trunk Road in front of section two (2) of sixteen (16), to road line between sections fifty-four (54) and twenty (20), block eight (8), Dunedin and East Taieri. Boundaries: both sides two (2) of sixteen (16), one of sixteen (16), three (3) of sixteen (16), seventeen (17), nineteen (19), and fifty-four (54), block eight (8), Dunedin and East Taieri.

Twenty-one (21) chains in length, sixty (60) links wide from District Road on section twenty (20), block eight (8), Dunedin and East Taieri, to south-east corner of section twenty-one (21), block eight (8), Dunedin and East Taieri. Boundaries: west by section twenty (20); and on the east sections thirty (30) and thirty-eight (38), block eight (8), Dunedin and East Taieri.

EDUCATIONAL DISTRICTS.—Notice is hereby given, That the Education Board has formed the localities of Clyde, Alexandra, Naseby, Waitahuna, Palmerston, Maungatua, and Waihola Gorge respectively into Educational Districts, under the provisions of the Education Ordinance, 1864, and that in consequence of the formation of the localities of Maungatua and Waihola Gorge into separate Educational Districts, the boundaries of the Educational Districts of West Taieri, Lake Waipori, Waihola, and Tokomairiro have been altered. The following is a description of the above-mentioned Educational Districts, viz.:
Clyde District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on the West, North, and East by a line extending four miles from the Western, Northern, and Eastern limits of the Township of Clyde, and on the South by a line extending two and a half miles from the southern limits of the said township of Clyde.
Alexandra District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on the North by Clyde Educational District, and on the East, South, and West by a line extending four miles from the eastern, southern, and western limits of the township of Alexandra.
Naseby (Mount Ida) District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on all sides by a line extending four miles from the limits of the township of Naseby, (Mount Ida).
Waitahuna District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on all sides by a line extending four miles from the limits of the Government Camp, at Waitahuna.
Palmerston District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on the North by Blocks VIII, XII, XI, and II, Moeraki Survey District; on the East by the ocean; on the South by Blocks IV, III, X, and IX, Hawkesbury Survey District; and on the West by the boundary of the Hundreds.
West Taieri District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on the North-west and North by the boundary of the Hundreds; on the East and South by the Taieri River; and on the South-west and West by Block IV, Maungatua Survey District; thence by Section 33, Irregular Block, Sections 4 and 10, Block III, Sections 4 and 10, Block IV, Section 26, Irregular Block, Taieri Survey District; thence by a direct line to the boundary of the Hundreds.
Maungatua District
Comprises all that area which is bounded on the North-west by the boundary of the Hundred, on the North-east by West Taieri Educational District; on the South-east by the natural canal near the North-west boundaries of Blocks IV and V, Maungatua Survey District;
