TENDERS will be received on Monday next, the 9th December, for Contract No. 271—Breakwater at Oamaru. Forms of Tender may be seen at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tenders to be endorsed "Road and Works: Tender for Contract No. 271." The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

TENDERS will be received on Monday next, the 9th December, for about eight chains fencing along Beach Road at Grants Braes, for the North East Harbor Road District. Specifications to be seen at Mr. H. Hooper’s office, Walker street.

CLYDEVALE ROAD DISTRICT.

In accordance with 10th Clause of the Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865, I give notice that a Meeting of persons liable to be rated for Roads within the above-named newly created District, is appointed to be held at the house of Mr. William Drummond, Clydevale Ferry, Clydevale, on Wednesday, the 18th day of December next, at three o’clock in the afternoon.

GOVERNMENT SALE OF RECLAIMED LAND, DUNEDIN.

NOTICE.—There will be Sold, by Public Auction, on the Reclaimed Ground, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 21st day of December, 1867, commencing at one o’clock afternoon, the Leases of the following Lots of Land, viz.:—

South of Jetty Street.

Five lots having a frontage of 33 feet to Bond street, by depths varying from 70 to 90 feet toward Princes street, being Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block XXXIX, on Reclaimed Ground, City of Dunedin.

One lot having a frontage of 46 feet to Bond street, by a depth of 59 feet toward Princes street, being Section 6, Block XXXIX, Reclaimed Ground, City of Dunedin.

North of Jetty Street.

Three lots having frontages of 41 feet, 55 feet and 56 feet to Bond and Crawford streets, by a depth of 81 feet, being Sections Nos. 12, 13 and 15, Block XXXVIII, Reclaimed Ground, City of Dunedin.

There is an iron Bonded Store on each of Sections 12 and 13, and the Harbour Chambers is on a portion of the same Sections, which will be sold with the land. Further information will be given before the sale.
