APPLICATION FOR DEPASTURING LEASES

OUTSIDE HUNDREDS.

Notice is hereby given that the following applications for Depasturing Leases have been made to the Waste Land Board.

"Any person desiring to object to the grant of such
"lease, may do so by lodging with the Board within
"three months after the first publication in the Pro-
"vincial Gazette of the said application, a statement in
"writing of the grounds of his objection, and no objec-
"tion made after the said period of three months shall
"be entertained by the Board."

Commencing at the north-east angle of Block I., Rankleburn Survey District, and bounded on the north by the northern boundary of said Block I., and of Blocks II. and III., said Rankleburn Survey District; on the west by the Rankleburn Stream to Pomahaka River; on the south-west and south by the Pomahaka River to its junction with the Clutha River; and on the east by said Clutha River to starting-point.

EDUCATION RESERVES.

— A Sale of the Leases

of the undermentioned Education Reserves will take place in the Auction Rooms of Wright, Robertson, and Company, Manse-street, Dunedin, upon Friday, the 13th of December, 1867, immediately after the sale of Crown Lands. —

Sale on Wednesday, 11th, and Friday, 13th, December, 1867, to commence each day at 12 o’clock. For details, see Advertisement Sheet of 13th, 20th, and 27th November, or apply to Auctioneers, who will forward a copy.

NOTICE.

The Provincial Government of Otago having requested me to undertake the apportionment of the Reward of £200 offered for the detection and conviction of the person who committed a murderous assault upon Benjamin Harbord, at Tuapeka, in the month of June last: This is to give notice to all persons concerned that they will be required to send in to me full particulars of the grounds of their claims before Thursday, the 5th day of December, 1867, or their claims will not be recognised.

is hereby given, that Poundkeepers who have neglected to make the Returns required by Sections 8 and 24 of the Impounding Ordinance, must make the same forthwith, under a penalty not exceeding £20, as set forth in Section 33 of the said Ordinance.

WANTED

by the East Taieri Road Board, a surfaceman for the ensuing year. Offers will be received up to Saturday, the 7th December proximo, by Mr. Charles Aitken, Woodside Farm. The lowest offer not necessarily accepted.
