NOTICE.—Those Ratepayers who have not paid the

Road Rate in North-East Harbor for 1867-8, are
requested to do so immediately, else law proceedings
will be at once taken against them.

NOTICE.—The precept authorising the Collection of

the Highway Rate for the Flagstaff District for
the year 1867-8 having been issued, Ratepayers are requested to pay the amount of their respective rates to
me, at my house, Sunnyside, Roslyn, on or before the
26th day of December next.

NOTICE is hereby given, that His Honor Mr. Justice Chapman has appointed Saturday the 21st
day of December next, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for
hearing appeals from Wardens’ Courts, and cases from
the District Court.

SOUTH TOKOMAIRIRO POUND.—The two

cows branded AA, also the strawberry cow and
red and white heifer have been claimed and released.

IMPOUNDED on the 23rd day of November, 1867,

by Edward Downes, ranger, Waikouaiti Hundred,
one red bull, about 12 months old, no visible brand,
owner unknown, for trespassing on Waikouaiti Hundred,
for which one pound damages are claimed, and in
default of being released, the above bull will be sold at
the Public Pound at Hawksbury on Friday, the 20th
day of December, 1867, at 12 o’clock noon.

BALCLUTHA POUND.—NOTICE.—The brown

Mare (impounded by James Ayson), branded
CW off shoulder, advertised to be sold on the 29th
instant, has since been claimed.

MISSING FRIENDS.—JAMES MORSE, late of the

parish of Winscombe, in Somersetshire, England.
He is supposed to have been a butcher in Dunedin in
1865, and since then to have been living at Mount
Dunstan. Any information regarding him will be
thankfully received by

Take notice that I desire that the boundary or
separating fence between sections 35, 36, and 2 of 37,

24, 25, 26, and 27, block I, Hillend District, your
property, be made immediately; and that such fence be
in accordance with Clause 1 of Schedule B, Fencing
Ordinance, 1867.
