ROAD DISTRICT of WANGALOA altered and diminished.—(From last week’s Gazette.)
Commencing at the mouth of the Matau River, and bounded on the west by said river and Kaitangata Creek to the north-west angle of Section 3, Block I., South Tuakitoto Survey District; thence on the north by a boundary line between Sections 3 and 4, said Block I., and said line continued to the watershed; thence on the west by said watershed to Twostone Hill; thence on the north-west by a straight line to Trigonometrical Station J; thence on the north by Blocks III. and IV., Kaitangata Survey District; thence on the east by Section 1, Block XIV., Coast District, to the ocean; on the south by the ocean to the Matau River, the point of starting.

Boundaries: east, section forty-one; west, sections forty-six, forty-seven, forty-eight, and part of forty-nine, block seven, Town District.
WANTED by the East Taieri Road Board, a surfaceman for the ensuing year. Offers will be received up to Saturday, the 7th December proximo, by Mr. Charles Aitken, Woodside Farm. The lowest offer not necessarily accepted.
GENERAL ROAD BOARD.—PUBLIC NOTICE.
Notice in writing of all business to be brought before the General Board at the monthly meetings, must be given to the Clerk to the Board, and lodged in his office two clear days before the day appointed for such meeting to take place. Meetings of the Board to be held at Provincial Government Buildings the first Thursday in every month, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.
NOTICE TO LOCAL ROAD BOARDS.—John Hardy, Land and Road Agent and Surveyor, Dunedin, is prepared to act for Local Boards and country settlers generally, in all the business connected with the General Road Board, the Education Board, or the Provincial Government.
Dunedin, 16th July, 1867.
NOTICE is hereby given, that Poundkeepers who have neglected to make the Returns required by Sections 8 and 24 of the Impounding Ordinance, must make the same forthwith, under a penalty not exceeding £20, as set forth in Section 33 of the said Ordinance.
PUERAKANUI.—NOTICE.—The Assessment Roll of Ratepayers for the Puerakanui Road District, for the year 1867-8, can be seen at the house of Mr. Driver in the said district, fourteen days from this date, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Sundays excepted.

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
