will be held at the Government Buildings, Dunedin, upon Tuesday, the 12th day of November, 1867,
at noon, for the despatch of business.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS for UNSURVEYED LAND, under "Otago Waste Land Act, 1866."
--It is hereby notified to the applicants whose names
appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the Waste
Land Board has declared them to be the purchasers of
the sections set opposite to their names in the Schedule,
and that the purchase money of these sections must be
paid to the Receiver of Land Revenue in Dunedin, on or
before Thursday, the 7th day of November, 1867, otherwise the applications will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled
and void, and the deposit made at the time of lodging
the application will be forfeited.

NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSURVEYED LANDS, under "Otago Waste Land Act, 1866." It is hereby notified to the Applicants
whose names appear in the subjoined Schedule, that the

THE QUARTERLY MEETING, under the Licensing Ordinance, will be held at noon, on the first
Tuesday of December, in the Resident Magistrates’
Courts within the Province, mentioned in the Proclamations which have appeared in the Provincial Gazette.
Application must be lodged with the Clerk of Court
fourteen days at least before the meeting.
GENERAL ROAD BOARD.—PUBLIC NOTICE.
--Notice in writing of all business to be brought
before the General Board at the monthly meetings,
must be given to the Clerk to the Board, and lodged in
his office two clear days before the day appointed for
such meeting to take place. Meetings of the Board to
be held at Provincial Government Buildings the first
Thursday in every month, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.

IMPOUNDED, on the 24th October, 1867, by order
of Mr. James Smith, Two Cows, branded A A off
rump; One Strawberry Cow; One Red and White
Heifer, no brand; for trespassing on his Run, for which
£1 per head damages are claimed; and, in default of
being released, the above Cattle will be sold, at the
Public Pound, at South Tokomairiro, at noon on Friday,
29th November, 1867.

by John Barr, one Chestnut Horse, white star on
forehead, branded like O on near shoulder, and like R
on off shoulder, owner unknown, for trespassing on
William Puddy’s premises, Plough Inn Hotel, for which
no damages is claimed; and, in default of being released,
the above horse will be sold at the Public Pound at
South Dunedin, on Friday, 29th day of November,
1867, at 12 o’clock noon.

NOTICE.—Impounded on the 24th October, 1867,
by James Ayson, of Finegand, Clutha, one
light brown mare, about 6 years old, white star on forehead, branded CW off shoulder, owner unknown, for
trespassing in a grass paddock, for which, with damages,
the sum of 25s is claimed, and in default of being
released, the above will be sold at the Public Pound,
Balclutha, on Friday the 29th November, 1867, at the
hour of 12 noon, to defray expenses.

have been received before the fourteenth day of November next, from other persons desirous of purchasing the
