26th October, Saturday, noon, Collector for Portobello Road Rate will attend at School-house for payment of Rate.
28th October, Monday, last day for paying Blueskin Road Rate, at the house of Mr. J. Aitken.
29th October, Tuesday, last day for inspecting Flagstaff District Road Assessment, at the house of Mr. P. Jenkins.
30th October, Wednesday, last day for paying East Taieri Road Rate to Mr. T. Culling, Collector.
31st October, Thursday, last day for inspecting Assessment Roll of Highcliff District, at the house of Mr. Wm. Tinnock, Clerk.
1st November, Friday, noon, a Horse will be sold at Tokomairiro Pound.
1st November, Friday, noon, a Red Heifer and Five Calves will be sold at East Taieri Pound.
4th November, Monday, last day for paying Mornington District Road Rate, at the house of Mr. Wm. Knox.
7th November, Thursday, 11 a.m., the General Road Board will consider an application to sub-divide Wangaloa Road District, as stated in Advertisement Sheet of 16th October.
7th November, 11 a.m., General Road Board will consider application for extending Walton Road District by adding a portion of Brighton Road District thereto.
7th November, 11 a.m., authority will be asked from General Road Board to levy future rates for Owhiro Road District, on an assessment of the annual value of houses, etc.
8th November, Friday, noon, a Red and White Heifer will be sold at East Taieri Pound.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the Holiday in observance of the Birthday of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, will be on Monday, 11th November, instead of Saturday, 9th November.

Fresh Tenders will be received (on printed forms to be had at the office after-mentioned) until Tuesday, 29th October, 1867, at the Police Office, Lawrence, for supply of Forage for Department until 31st March, 1868.

- Cleansing Chimneys.
- Funerals.
- Manna Firewood.
- Provincial Coal.
- English Coal.
- Ironmongery.
- Kerosene, Neatsfoot and Colza Oil.
- Plumber Materials.
- Paints, Colors, and Glazing.
- Powder and Fuse.
- Rations and Medical Comforts for H.M.'s Gaol.
- Milk for Hospital and Lunatic Asylum.
- Rations and Medical Comforts (exclusive of Bread and Meat) for Hospital, Lunatic Asylum, and Immigration Depot.
- Bread for Hospital, Lunatic Asylum, and Immigration Depot.
- Rations—Meat for Hospital, Lunatic Asylum, and Immigration Depot.

STEAM TUG.
Tenders will be received, at the Provincial Government Offices, Dunedin, until noon of Friday, 8th November, 1867, from parties willing to place a Tug Steamer on Otago Harbor, capable of towing a ship of 2000 tons burthern, until 31st December, 1868.

The Government will not bind itself to accept any tender.
NOTICE.
To Masters and Owners of Cargo and Passenger Vessels, and Boats Plying for Hire in the Port of Dunedin: It is hereby notified that Licenses to Ply for Hire will be ready for issue on the First Day of November next. Application to be made at the Harbor Office, Port Chalmers.
Penalty for Plying without a License, Ten Pounds.
