Land applied for under applications Nos. 70D and 75D, now surveyed and numbered sections 12, 13, 17, 18, and 19, Block 12, Moeraki District, will be offered for sale by public auction on Monday, the thirteenth day of October, 1867, in the Land Office, Dunedin, at 12 o’clock noon.
THE sale by auction of Sections 10, Block 9, Outram, and 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, Block 12, Moeraki District, advertised in the Provincial Government Gazette of the 11th instant, to be held on the 13th day of October, in the Land Office Dunedin, is postponed till Monday the 28th day of October next, at 12 o’clock noon.
Persons in whose favor Crown Grants have been signed, can only obtain them by calling at the Crown Grant Office, or by sending an Agent with an authority in the subjoined form, signed before a Justice of the Peace.

IMMIGRATION TO OTAGO.—Urgent representations having been made to the Provincial Government as to the scarcity of agricultural labourers, notice is hereby given to those employers who, through their friends and connections in the mother country, can hire suitable labourers, that the Government is prepared to issue passage orders from Glasgow to the Province on payment of £10 per statute adult.
The same facilities will also be given to others than agricultural employers who may wish to engage their own workpeople in the home country; the only stipulation which the Government makes in either case is, that public aid shall be strictly confined to importation of bona fide labour suitable to the actual requirements of the province.

ELECTION OF LOCAL BOARD OF ROAD TRUSTEES.—The Ratepayers in the above-named district having failed to elect a Local Board of Road Trustees, at the annual meeting appointed to be held within the said district on the 25th June last, notice is hereby given, that a Meeting of Ratepayers for the Election of such Local Board, will be held at Mr. T. Knewstubb’s, in said district, on Monday, the 21st October, now next, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
Note.—The attention of Ratepayers is specially directed to the 9th, 10th and 11th clauses of the “Otago Roads Ordinance, 1865” for mode of procedure at electoral meetings.
