WAIKARI ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice is hereby given that the Assessment Roll for the above district for the year 1867-8, may be seen at the school house, Halfway Bush, where it will be open for inspection by persons liable to be rated in the said district, until Friday, October 11th, 1867.

THE Precept having been issued by the General Road Board for the payment of the Highway Rate for the year 1867-8 to the Portobello Road Board, Notice is hereby given that the Collector, for the convenience of the Ratepayers, will attend at the School-house, Portobello, on Saturday, the 26th October, at 12 o’clock, to receive payment of the above Rate.

IMPOUNDED on the 23rd day of September, 1867, by constable William Hanlon, one bay mare, two near side feet white, white stripe down forehead, long tail, no visible brand; also one iron-grey gelding, blaze on forehead, white mark on saddle, long tail, no visible brand, owners unknown, for trespassing on the North East Valley public road, and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at North Dunedin on Friday, the eighteenth day of October, 1867, at 12 o’clock noon.
