3rd October, Thursday, 11 a.m., the General Road Board will consider application of Milburn Road Trustees, that section 27, block 11, Akatore Survey District, should be restored to Milburn District. Objections (if any) to be lodged by 2nd October.

4th Oct., Friday, noon, a White Cow, a Red Steer, one Yellow Steer, a Red Heifer, a Brindle and White (spotted) Cow, and a Black Heifer will be sold at East Taieri Pound.

5th Oct., Saturday, last day for paying Pine Hill Road Rate.

12th October, Saturday, last day for paying Kaikorai District Road Rate at house of Mr. William Knox.

ACCEPTED TENDERS.— Main Road through Dunedin, contract No. 261—Supply of 1000 cubic yards of Road Metal.—Patrick Martin, £316 13s. 4d.

Dunedin to East Taieri Bridge, Contract No. 263—Supply of 2000 cubic yards of Road Metal.—David Sinnott, £870 16s. 8d.

Contract No. 266, for alterations, additions, and repairs to Schoolmaster’s Residence, Anderson’s Bay.—James Gore, £118 10s.

WANTED tenders for supplying 500 cubic yards of 2½ inch road metal, to be spread partly on the road leading from Mr. Strode’s paddock to the Maori Hill, and partly on the new road from Maori Hill to Halfway Bush. Tenders to be addressed to D. M’LAUGHLIN, Clerk to the Waikari District Road Board.

ROAD DISTRICT OF WINDSOR, as proclaimed in last week’s Gazette.

The Road District of Windsor shall comprise all that area commencing at the Trig. Station (Big Hill), situate on the boundary line between the Awamoka and Papakio Survey District, and bounded on the north by a straight line from the said Trig. Station to the south-east angle of Block VI, Awamoka Survey District; and thence by said Block VI; on the west by the western boundary of the Awamoka Survey District to the Kakanui River; on the south by the southern boundary of the said Awamoka Survey District to the boundary of the Oamaru Hundreds; on the south-east by boundary of said Oamaru Hundreds and the Big Hill Creek to point of commencement.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following allotments, which are of special value as containing bush or as having been long withheld from sale, will be offered for sale by Public Auction in the salerooms of Messrs Wright, Robertson and Co., Manse street, on Monday, the 30th day of September next, at 12 o’clock noon.—
