NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FOR UNSUR-
VEYED LAND, UNDER “OTAGO WASTE
LAND ACT, 1866.”—It is hereby notified
to the applicants whose names appear in the subjoined
Schedule, that the Waste Land Board has declared
them to be the purchasers of the Sections set opposite
their names in the Schedule, and that the purchase
money of these Sections must be paid to the Receiver
of Land Revenue in Dunedin, on or before Thursday
the 5th day of September, 1867, otherwise the appli-
cations will be deemed withdrawn, cancelled and void,
and the deposit made at the time of lodging the appli-
cation will be forfeited.

sand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

Court will be holden at the Court House,
Dunedin, on Monday, the thirtieth day of September
next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, for the despatch of

Debtors and Creditors Act.

In the matter of the Petition of Matthias Calvert and
George Hyde Campbell, of Dunedin, in the Province
of Otago, trading there in copartnership
under the style of “Calvert & Campbell,” china
and earthenware merchants, praying for the seques-
tration and cession of the estate of Joshua Lazarus,
of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, fancy goods
dealer.

WHEREAS the above named Matthias Calvert and
George Hyde Campbell have this day presented
their Petition in writing to me, Henry Samuel Chap-
man, Judge at Dunedin of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand, Otago and Southland District, praying for the
sequestration and cession of the estate of the said
Joshua Lazarus in the manner provided by the Debtors
and Creditors Act 1862 and the Amendment Acts of
1865 and 1866 respectively. And whereas the said
George Hyde Campbell and Carl Steinhoff of Dunedin
aforesaid, tobacconist, have respectively made affida-
vits of such facts as have satisfied me of the truth of the
matters contained in the said Petition. And whereas
I have appointed Monday, the thirtieth day of Sep-
tember next for the hearing of the said Petition. And
whereas it has been made to appear to my satisfaction
that it is expedient that the estate of the said Joshua
Lazarus should be placed under sequestration. Now
therefore I do order that the estate of the said Joshua
Lazarus be and the same is hereby accordingly placed
under sequestration in the hands of George Brodie,
Esquire, the Inspector in Bankruptcy for the Province
of Otago, and that the same shall be taken and held by
him until the further order of this honorable Court.
And I further order and declare that this order shall be
deemed to be a vesting order.

Dated this thirtieth day of August, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-seven.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.—The part-
nership hitherto existing between the under-
signed, trading under the style and firm of Thomson
and Campbell, Storekeepers at Dunstan Creek and
Naseby, is this day dissolved by mutual consent. All
debts due by or owing to said firm at Dunstan Creek
store, will be paid and received by J. A. Campbell.
All debts due by or owing to the said firm at Naseby
store, will be paid and received by Jas. Thomson. The
business will be carried on at Naseby by the said Jas.
Thomson on his own account, and the business at
Dunstan Creek will be carried on by the said J. A.
Campbell on his own account.
