Mayor of the said Incorporated Town of Alexandra, at
the election of Councillors and Auditors :
Now, therefore, I, the said John Cumming, do hereby
fix Saturday, the twenty-seventh day of July, 1867, at
noon, at one of the Government Buildings at the Camp,
in the said Incorporated Town of Alexandra, as the day,
hour, and place for nomination of candidates for election to the offices of Councillors and Auditors of the
said Incorporated Town of Alexandra at the ensuing
election: And I do hereby give notice that I shall
attend at the said place, and at the day and time hereinbefore mentioned, and shall then cause to be publicly
opened and read all such nominations of candidates for
election to the offices of Councillors and Auditors of the
said Incorporated Town of Alexandra as shall be in due
form, and shall have been lodged with Richard Watkins,
the person appointed by his Honor the Superintendent
to act as Town Clerk at such election at Alexandra,
before noon of the said twenty-seventh day of July,
1867.

REGULATIONS
passed by the Wardens of the
South Tokomairiro Hundred, 15th April, 1867.
A meeting of Licenseholders having been held under
Clause 103 of the “Otago Waste Lands Act, 1866,”
at which meeting it was decided by a majority of the
votes of those present, that great Cattle only should be
depastured on the Waste Lands of the Crown within
the South Tokomairiro Hundred.
The Wardens of the South Tokomairiro Hundred
compute that the above Hundred will depasture 2,500
two thousand five hundred head of great Cattle, and do
hereby apportion the right of pasturage as under, viz.:
one head of great Cattle for every six acres of
purchased land.
