date the boundaries of the Anderson's Bay Road Dis-
trict shall henceforth be as described in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
North East Harbor Road District shall comprise all
that area commencing at the north-west angle of Sec-
tion 5, Upper Harbor East Survey District; thence
following Otago Harbor line southerly to the south-
east angle of Section 13 (Quarry Reserve), Block V,
Anderson's Bay Survey District; thence bounded on
the south and south-east by Sections 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, 7, and 8, Block V, Anderson's Bay Survey District;
thence by Sections 1 and 2, Block VIII, Anderson's
Bay Survey District; thence by Applications 1326,
1522, and 419, Block I, Otago Peninsula Survey Dis-
trict, to the boundary line between Sections 44 and 45,
Upper Harbor East Survey District; on the east by a
continuation of that line to Main Portobello Road;
thence on the south-east by the said Portobello Road to
the south-east angle of Section 59, Block II, Otago
Peninsula Survey District; thence on the north-east by
Sections 58, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 22, 2, 1, and Ap-
plication 1268i and Application 1184, Block II, Otago
Peninsula Survey District, and by Section 4, Upper
Harbor East Survey District, to starting point.
Anderson's Bay Road District shall comprise all that
area commencing at the eastern angle of Section 45,
Upper Harbor East Survey District, and bounded on
the east by the continuation of the boundary line
between Sections 44 and 45 to road line between Sec-
tion 41, Block III, Tomahawk Survey District, and
Section 24, Block I, Otago Peninsula Survey District;
on the south-east by that road line to Section 22, Block
VIII, Anderson's Bay Survey District; thence along
north-eastern boundary of Sections 22, 21, 20, 19, 18,
and 17, said Block VIII; thence along north-western
boundary of said Section 17 and its continuation in
same direction to the Lagoon; thence by Lagoon to the
northern boundary of Block VII, Otago Peninsula
Survey District; thence by said northern boundary to
road line at southern angle of Application 2494;
thence on the south-west by a continuation of that
road-line to Dunedin Town Belt; on the north-west by
said Dunedin Town Belt to Otago Harbor; thence
following beach line of said Otago Harbor in an
easterly direction to south-east angle of Section 13
(Quarry Reserve), Block V, Anderson's Bay Survey
District; thence on the north and north-west by the
south and south-eastern boundaries of the north-east
Harbor Road District to starting point at eastern angle
of Section 45, Upper Harbor East Survey District.

elected Mayor of Dunedin for the year ending 1st day
of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.

NOMINATION OF COUNCILLORS AND
AUDITORS.
HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that the Nomination
I of Candidates for election to the several offices
of Councillors and Auditors for the year ending 1st
August, 1868, will take place on Saturday, the twenty-
seventh day of July instant, at the Octagon Market
Place, at the hour of noon.
The Councillors retiring by rotation are—Cr.
Chalmer, for South Ward; Cr. Carrick, for High Ward;
Cr. Birch, for Bell Ward; and Cr. Driver, for Leith
Ward.
Nominations must be in form of Schedule D. of
the Otago Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865;
and be lodged at the office of the Town Clerk, where
blank forms may be had, on or before noon of the day
herein fixed for the nomination.
One Councillor to be elected for each Ward. Two
(2) Auditors to be elected for the City.

WHEREAS his Honor JAMES MACANDREW, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Otago, in
exercise of the powers vested in him by the “Otago
Municipal Corporations Ordinance, 1865,” has, by war-
rant under his hand, appointed me, the undersigned
JOHN GOMMING, to be the person to give public notice,
as by law required, of the place, day, and hour for the
nomination of candidates for election to the offices of
Councillors, and also for the nomination of candidates
for election to the offices of Auditors, for the Incorpo-
rated Town of Alexandra, under the said Ordinance,
and to attend on the day of nomination of candidates
for such offices, at such first election, and to pre side,
do, and perform at such first election all the acts by the
said Ordinance required or directed to be done by the
