9th May, Thursday, last day for paying Deborah Road Rate, at the house of Mr Hitchcock.
10th May, Friday, last day for seeing Assessment Roll of Road Board, Caversham.
24th May, Friday, noon, a Black Horse and a Bay Colt will be sold at East Taieri Pound.
24th May, Friday, noon, a White and Yellow Bullock will be sold at West Taieri Pound.
27th May, Monday, last day for paying Sandymount Road Rate, at the residence of Mr Archibald McKay, Collector.

WEST TAIERI CHURCH TO BUSH.--Tenders
Will be received at the office of the Secretary for Public Works, until noon of Monday, 13th May, for Contract No. 260: Erection of Culverts and construction of portions of the Road.
Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained, at the office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.
Tender to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 260."
The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.

25th May, Saturday, 11 o'clock, Sections in Oamaru, Court House.
28th May, Tuesday, 12 noon, Sections in Herbert, School House.

The Contractor having failed to carry out the following work, fresh tenders will be received until noon of Monday, 13th May, for Contract No. 248:
Gravelling portion of Road near Hampden--Palmerston to Oamaru.
The Government does not undertake to accept any tender.

TENDERS wanted for the formation of about
Forty-five Chains of Road, in Mosgiel District. Specifications to be seen at the House of Mr. William Aitken, who will show the works. Tenders to be lodged at my house on or before the 10th of May.
NOTICE TO OWNERS OF LAND IN THE MORNINGTON DISTRICT
The School Committee of the Mornington District will receive offers from persons willing to dispose of parcels of land (not less than one acre,) in a central position suitable as a site for a Master's residence.

On the 2nd day of May, 1867, by Mr. Heasty, Brindle Bull, E P off rump; one yellow Bullock, branded on near rump, not visible; one white and yellow Steer, branded on near rump, not visible; owner unknown, for trespassing on Mr. Heasty's Farm, West Taieri, for which no damages are claimed; and in default of being released, the above cattle will be sold at the Public Pound, at West Taieri, on Friday the 31st day of May, 1867, at 12 o'clock noon.\nMichael Tynan,
