ADVERTISMENT SHEET.

ABSTRACT FROM ADVERTISEMENT SHEETS--

Kurimoto Road District Rate is payable to Jas. L. Lauder, after 10th April.

The Assessment Roll for the Deborah Bay District Roads may be seen at the house of Mr. R. Lean, Rocks, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Sundays and Public Holidays excepted.

Roslyn District Road Rate is now payable to D. Miller, jun., collector, at his house, Sunnyside.

17th April, Wednesday, noon, Wooden Offices presently occupied as Provincial Government Offices, will be sold by public auction at Dunedin.

20th April, Saturday, Tomahawk Road Rate payable at Mr. Thomas Harrison’s house. The Assessment Roll for said district may be seen at the Schoolhouse, Anderson’s Bay, till date.

24th April, Wednesday, at 7 p.m., a public meeting of the Male Owners and Occupiers of Land and Householders in the District of Palmerston, will be held in the School-house, to form Palmerston into an Educational District.

25th April, Thursday, last day for paying Harlington District Road Rate, to Joseph Morris, collector.

26th April, Friday, a Dark Roan Mare will be sold at South Dunedin Pound.

26th April, Friday, a Red Bull will be sold at Caversham Pound.

£500 will be paid for conviction of the person who set fire to Stacks in Taieri District, on 9th or 10th May last.

TOKOMAIRIRO TO TUAPEKA.--Tenders will be received at the office of the Secretary for Public Works until noon of Monday, the 22nd of April, for Contract No. 259—construction of about 129½ chains of Road next Township of Lawrence. Plans and specifications may be seen, and forms of tender obtained at the Office of the Engineer of Roads and Works, Dunedin.

Tenders to be endorsed "Roads and Works, Tender for Contract No. 259."

The Government does not undertake to accept the lowest or any tender.
