cancellation without compensation at the pleasure of the Superintendent, if any of the aforesaid Regulations is infringed or violated, or if any bill given in payment of the premium is not paid when it falls due.

  1. Excepting certain portions of Runs numbered 16 and 18.

Notwithstanding anything in these Regulations contained or expressed, no compensation will be allowed or paid on account of the granting of agricultural leases upon Block I, South Wakatipu District, containing 931 acres, more or less, situated within the boundaries of runs numbered 16 and 18; but the licensee shall be entitled to depasture cattle upon lands comprised within the said blocks prior to the issue of such agricultural leases.

In the matter of the Petition of Duncan Cameron, alias John Reid, alias Robert Reid, of Dunedin, Grocer and Butcher, a Debtor; and David Baxter, of Dunedin, Storekeeper, a Creditor of the said Duncan Cameron to the extent of fifty pounds.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the said Duncan Cameron has presented and filed his Petition for the sequestration of his estate for the benefit of all his creditors, and for relief according to the provisions of the Debtors and Creditors’ Acts; and that the said Petition has been accepted by his Honor the Judge, who has appointed the eighteenth day of March, 1867, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at the Supreme Court House, Dunedin, for the hearing of the said Petition, at which time and place all parties concerned are to attend.

In the matter of the Petition of William Henry Clayton, of Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, Architect, a debtor, and Robert Paterson and David McLeod, trading in copartnership in Dunedin aforesaid under the style or firm of Paterson and McLeod, creditors of the said William Henry Clayton to the extent of not less than Fifty Pounds, and in the matter of the “Debtors and Creditors Act, 1862,” and the “Debtors and Creditors Act Amendment Act, 1865.”

WHEREAS on the Tenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, upon reading the Petition of the said William Henry Clayton, and the several schedules and annexures thereto, and upon hearing Mr. Dempsey, of counsel for the said William Henry Clayton, it was ordered that a vesting order should be granted in favour of Joseph Sykes Webb, of Dunedin aforesaid, Accountant. And whereas by a rule of this Honorable Court, bearing date the said Tenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, the whole of the estate and effects of the said William Henry Clayton were vested in the said Joseph Sykes Webb, his heirs, executors, and administrators, upon certain trusts, for the benefit of all the creditors of the said William Henry Clayton, which trusts are set forth in the said Rule. Upon production of the said Rule, and upon consideration of the matter, it is hereby ordered that the said William Henry Clayton be discharged and released from his debts, liabilities, and engagements, as specified in his schedule.

Dated this Twenty-second day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.
