WAITAHUNA WEST ROAD BOARD.—Accounts for the Year ending 31st December, 1866. No receipts and no expenditure.

POPOTUNOA ROAD DISTRICT.—Notice
is hereby given that a Meeting of persons liable to be rated, within the above-named district, will be held on Saturday, the 26th day of January, instant, at three o’clock p.m., at the house of Mr Pollock, Popotunoa Hotel, for the purpose of electing five qualified persons to serve as a Local Board of Road Trustees for the year ending June, 1867.
PINE HILL ROAD DISTRICT.—Ratepayers
are hereby informed, that on or before the 26th of January, all Rates must be paid for the year, 1866-67. An opportunity will be afforded Ratepayers not residing in the District, by the Collector attending at Water of Leith Hotel, on Saturday, 26th January, from 12 till 1 p.m., after which date all Rates remaining unpaid will be recovered as per Assessment Notice.
NOTICE.—High Cliff Road Rate for the Year 1866-7.
Notice is hereby given that the said rate will be payable to James Beattie, High Cliff Place, within the said district, on and after the 16th day of January, 1867, and that payment must be made within thirty days from said date.

NORTH-EAST HARBOR ROAD DISTRICT. APPLICATION FOR LOAN.
Notice is hereby given that application has been made by the Local Board of North-east Harbor Road District to the General Road Board to borrow the sum of £700, on the security of the yearly Highway or Road Rates of the said district, under the provisions of the “Road District Loan Ordinance, 1865.”
And notice is hereby further given that the General Road Board will, at a meeting to be held on the 7th February, 1867, at Dunedin, proceed to consider such application, and that any of the ratepayers on the assessment roll of the said district, who may object to the granting of such application, must, on or before that day, petition the General Road Board to refuse such application of the Local Board in manner provided by Clause II. of the said “Road Districts Loan Ordinance, 1865.”

NORTH-EAST HARBOR AND ANDERSON’S BAY ROAD DISTRICTS.
Notice is hereby given that application has been made to the General Road Board by the North-east Harbor Local Board of Road Trustees for General Board’s assent to the extension and alteration of the western boundary of North-east Harbor Road District, such extension to embrace all that are now and at present forming a portion of the Anderson’s Bay Road District, and bounded towards the north and west by the Otago Harbor and the Dunedin Town Belt, and extending from Section 44, Upper Harbor, East Survey District, to the northern angle of Section 11, Block VII., Town District; towards the south and east by Main Portobello Road Section 8, Block VI., said Block VI. and Block II., Section 1, Block III., Anderson’s Bay Survey District; Block VII., Otago Peninsula, Application 118, Block XII., Dunedin and East Taieri Survey District, and Sections 84, 32, 31, and 12, Block VII., Town District.
And notice is hereby further given that the General Board will, at a meeting to be held at Dunedin, on Thursday, February 7th, now next, at 12 o’clock, noon, proceed to consider and decide upon such application. Notice of objections to be lodged by or before Wednesday, the 6th February.

PORTOBELLO AND BROAD BAY ROAD DISTRICTS.—ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES.
Notice is hereby given that an application has been made by Settlers in the Portobello Road District to the General Road Board for the Board’s assent to the alteration of the western boundary of the Portobello Road District, and which said western boundary is proposed to be that road line commencing at the south-eastern angle of Section 37, Block II., Otago Peninsula, and continuing between said Section 37, 38, 34, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, and 21, and Sections 64, 36, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51, and 20, through Section 13 said Block, thence by a line to southern angle of Section 13, Block VII., Portobello Survey District, thence by Section line between Sections 13 and 14, said Block to Otago Harbor.
And notice is hereby further given that the General Road Board will, at its meeting, to be held at Dunedin, on Thursday, the 7th day of February next, at 12 o’clock, noon, further consider said proposed alteration of boundaries.
Objections (if any) to be lodged at the Office of the General Road Board on or before Wednesday, the 6th February, 1867.

NORTH EAST VALLEY ROAD DISTRICT.
Notice is hereby given that a memorial from Settlers in this district was laid before the General Road Board, at its last monthly meeting, asking for a sub-division of the said North-east Valley Road District, and the formation of a new Road District, which said new Road District is proposed to be comprised within the following boundaries—viz., the north-west by the north-western boundaries of Sections 36, 38, 41, 43, 45, 50, inclusive, Block IX., North Harbor and Blueskin Survey District, on the south by Dunedin Town Belt and Sections 51, 53, said Block IX., and on the south and south-east by Sections 54 to 61 inclusive, said Block IX., and by Sections 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, and 5, said Block IX., and on the north-east by Sections 4 and 33, said Block IX., North Harbor and Blueskin Survey District.
And notice is hereby further given that the General Road Board will, at a meeting to be held at Dunedin, on Thursday, Feb. 7, now next, at 12 o’clock, proceed to consider such application, and hear objections (if any), to the granting of same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Assessment Roll for a special rate proposed to be levied in the Harrington Road District may be inspected for fourteen days after Saturday, the 19th January, (except Sundays or public holidays) between the hours of ten a.m. and four p.m., at Mr. Samuel Perry’s house, within said district.

WHIRO DISTRICT ROAD RATE.—Notice is hereby given that the said rate must be paid to Mr John Kirkland, the collector thereof at his house, in said district, on or before the fifth day of February, 1867.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the said Court will be holden at Dunedin on Monday, the 11th day of February next, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of hearing appeal from Warden’s Courts under the provisions of the Gold Fields Acts.
