WARRANT
Of Appointment of Inspectors of Diseased Cattle.
PURSUANT to the powers delegated to me by His Excellency the Governor in this behalf, and under and by virtue of the “Diseased Cattle Act, 1861,” and the “Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1865,” I Thomas Dick, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby appoint the undermentioned persons as and to be Inspectors of Diseased Cattle, to perform the duties required by the said Acts or either of them, that is to say—
James Kennedy, Dunedin,
Benjamin O. Bayley, Dunstan.
And I do hereby further appoint the undermentioned persons as and to be Assistant Inspectors of Diseased Cattle, to perform the duties required by the said Acts or either of them, but without salary, that is to say—
Frederick Wayne, Waihemo.
Clement McLeod Orbell, Waikouaiti.
Thomas Jones, Waikouaiti.
